I’m not a very lucky person when it comes to Bernie Sanders.

I want to make it perfectly clear that I like Bernie Sanders personally. I’ve had several opportunities over the years of being able to sit down with him and talk in small groups of three or four.  A long time real life friend of mine was Bernie’s campaign treasurer for his senate campaigns for years and years.  I like Bernie personally and I think he has some great ideas.

I cannot stand most of his supporters.

It’s kinda like I feel about Jesus – love the guy, but strongly dislike most of his supporters.

There’s a Bernie guy in my county who slithers out to lie, destroy, and secretly plot against candidates in the Democratic primary on Our Revolution letterhead. I called the head of Our Revolution to file a formal complaint and they told me that they don’t regulate who can use their name or letterhead. Seriously.

Bernie’s campaign tanked in Texas four years ago. For their Texas campaign manager, they hired a hack who had been fired by the Texas Democratic Party in a hotel hallway four years before (I’m serious about this. I was there. Not in the actual hallway but a few doors down.) for some creepily egregious behavior. The next time anyone sees him, he’s in charge of Texas for Burnie Sanders.

This time they hired a notoriously lazy guy who is unable to raise money, and who has run in four races all in a row and lost them all except the first one where he won by 100 votes in an 8,000 vote contest. The rest he  generally came in a distant third. Why would you hired that guy? It scares me think who he’d hire for Secretary of State.

These are just a few example because I have errands to run today.

I could go on and on.  I was thinking that I had just been unlucky meeting Bernie supporters. But, apparently not.  Apparently, I got off light.

You don’t have to read the whole article.  It’s gross beyond measure.

(Heavy sigh.)  I really do like Bernie personally.  And that’ a shame

Y’all, when the Acting Director of Homeland Security seems a tad frantic because he can’t get information about the Coronavirus except through the internet and it has to be free, I think we’re all pretty screwed.

So if somebody asks, “Are terrorists sending big balloons filled with Coronavirus over the countryside, the guy in charge would have to answer, “Hold on a minute and let me check the internet.”

And then he’s gotta find somebody with a credit card to let him see it.

Totally screwed.

I guess a lightbulb came on over his head.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will postpone a CNN town hall slated for Monday to prepare for Tuesday’s debate in South Carolina.

I guess someone told him that he got barbequed in the last debate.  If he doesn’t want another 50 miles of rough road he might better find a way to answer criticism because I’m betting Trump is already practicing with a cardboard cut out of Bloomberg.

He better remember one thing about Elizabeth Warren taking him to the woodshed: she has a plan for that.  He might want to get one, too.

Here’s where the bad guys won.

Americans should not be confident about the security of the 2020 election, according to a slim majority of experts surveyed by The Cybersecurity 202.

“Every part of the voting process is vulnerable. This includes the voter registration process, the voting itself, the vote tabulation, and the results-reporting system,” said Bruce Schneier, fellow and lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

It’s doesn’t have to be vulnerable, just believing it’s vulnerable is all you need.  Trump did not need an investigation of the Bidens, he just needed people to believe there was an investigation.

If Trump wins, they will announce that they did a magnificent job of protecting the voting.  If Trump loses, it was stolen, probably by Hillary, and he’s not going to leave the office.

Trump has people believing that they can trust no one, except him.  When, in fact, the opposite is true.

As an aside, people are suggesting the fear that Trump won’t leave the White House if he’s defeated in 2020. I used to hear the same rumors from Republicans about Barack Obama.  Trump will leave the White House. I personally know a goat roper with the instincts of a mountain lion and a horse named Prissy who who will bring that piece of livestock out the front door while you time her.

Nadine Farquar can also field dress the goat, build a proper fire and have roasted cabrito ready for dinner.  Somebody may have to go in and bring Prissy out because Prissy will get freaked that all the front part of the horses in there are totally missing – all you see are the rear ends.

See, I can pretty much fix everything.

Oh hell, no.

They wanted volunteers to sign NDAs.  Volunteers. What the hell?

One guy refused to sign and his job was taken away.  Although now state party officials say they did this in 2018, the guy says he worked in 2018 and was never given an NDA to sign.  And now the state party says the NDA are not required.  They are done voluntarily.

Asked if volunteers who signed the agreements would be sued if they talk to the media or others about the caucus experience, he stressed the NDA is voluntary.

Look Democrats, if you’re looking for someone to emulate, don’t pick Donald Trump.  Donald Trump is a bad guy.

“President Trump’s new acting intelligence director, Richard Grenell, used to do consulting work on behalf of an Eastern European oligarch who is now a fugitive and was recently barred from entering the U.S. under anti-corruption sanctions imposed last month by the State Department.”

Grenell wrote several articles defending the oligarch and, just to make it a trifecta at the Slime Races, “Grenell also did not register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which generally requires people to disclose work in the U.S. on behalf of foreign politicians.”

Yep, there you go – all the best people.  If you’re looking for employment opportunities, he’ll get to you. Just wait a couple of months.  If you can bring yourself to say, “That handsome Trump guy, he knows all the best words,” then gainful, but temporary, employment awaits you when it’s your turn.
