A new warning label encouraging Twitter users to “Get the facts about mail-in ballots” appeared on a series of tweets in which the president baselessly claimed ballots received through mail-in voting methods are “fraudulent.”
Clicking through the new prompt from Twitter brings users to a fact-checking page highlighting a CNN story debunking the president’s false claims. The page also offers a summary with bullet points providing useful context for the misleading tweets, including the fact that vote-by-mail is already widely in use around the country.
Well, I wonder when Tump will have a conniption fit?
Black while birding? You know what kind of people do birding? Not violent people, I can tell you that. Put your damn dog on a leash whether you’re white or not because it’s the law.
Know what? I can’t breathe means I can’t breathe. I don’t care if the man was involved in a forgery. We int give the cruel and unusual death penalty for that.
If a Republican County Commissioner in New Mexico had his druthers, some guy in North Carolina would have already shot me dead.
“I’ve come to a place where I’ve come to the conclusion that the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat,” he said to a crowd gathered in Sierra County.
Commissioner Couy Griffin says he meant “political death,” not the dead kind of dead, but that wasn’t what the crowd cheered for.
That picture over there is of Cuey during some desperate times in his life. His Cowboys for Trump PAC neglected to file all the necessary paperwork for PACs.
Okay, so these ReOpen people are truly off their rocker.
Adam Smith, the husband of the ReOpen North Carolina movement, just said that he’s willing to kill people (and by people he means his fellow Americans) if we try to make him do something I guess dangerous, like make him wear a mask when he’s in my airspace.
Here ya go.
I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of enemies foreign and domestic. He clearly has chosen the domestic path to killing Americans.
Look, Adam, we won’t let you pee on the sidewalk, drive a car without a seatbelt, sell you alcohol if you’re already drunk, or drive around and shoot out pesky traffic lights. If you think what’s really wrong with America is that you cannot cough on people while there’s a damn pandemic, then bygawd you’ve got life too damn easy.
And Trump wants to talk about enemies of the people.
Okay! Stop with the money! We have plenty of money and I cannot thank you enough. I will take this off this afternoon so that everybody sees it.Any monies left over will be used for a get out the vote program for November. Short beg: I need you to help me write postcards for an excellent candidate for the Texas State House in a primary run-off. I will send you the names, some postcards, some stamps, and even suggestions of what to say. I’m asking you to do ten in the month of June. If you can’t write, please donate to the Juanita Jean’s Good Government PAC that will be operational between now and November. Click DONATE above for more details. This will stay on top of the posts for the entire week. That’s how serious I am.
It is inappropriate to say Happy Memorial Day. Memorial Day is for solemn reflection on those who gave all – the men and women who sacrificed their lives to keep America safe. It is not a happy time – it is a call to duty and to country.
My momma and daddy taught me this with great reverence. My schoolteachers taught me this. My grandparents taught me this, remembering the war to end all wars. My friends who are veterans taught me this with a tear in their eye. My veteran son will go at sundown and blow taps on his trumpet – alone, without fanfare, and filled with respect at the historic cemetery in our town.
Happy Memorial Day is like saying Happy 9-11.
So, as you would expect …
In ALL CAPS no less.
It’s fine to have a picnic or in normal times to go swimming in the river, but take some time to remember 17 year olds, who died alone and in pain – many times for no good cause whatsoever.
Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
