Okay, so these ReOpen people are truly off their rocker.
Adam Smith, the husband of the ReOpen North Carolina movement, just said that he’s willing to kill people (and by people he means his fellow Americans) if we try to make him do something I guess dangerous, like make him wear a mask when he’s in my airspace.
Here ya go.
I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of enemies foreign and domestic. He clearly has chosen the domestic path to killing Americans.
Look, Adam, we won’t let you pee on the sidewalk, drive a car without a seatbelt, sell you alcohol if you’re already drunk, or drive around and shoot out pesky traffic lights. If you think what’s really wrong with America is that you cannot cough on people while there’s a damn pandemic, then bygawd you’ve got life too damn easy.
And Trump wants to talk about enemies of the people.
Everywhere you go, no matter what issue comes up, there seems to be one incredibly stupid individual who steps up and draws attention to his/her lunatic attitudes/ideas. Sadly, he’s not the only one.

2He might not kill anyone, but there are plenty of those who will, and they suck up every stupid thing these guys are saying. Trump voters, naturally.
3I see more and more – and not just in the salon today – GOP right wingers ready to settle perceived scores via a very final solution. We need gun control to help them understand limits and psychiatrist to help them get a grip!
4Heckydarn, ol’ Adam with all his bluster ain’t got nothing on Jared Sukert. Jared is in that part of the well regulated militia that carries concealed with a round in the chamber and the hammer cocked. Done shot himself a gas station restroom, that’s what he done.

On 05/24/2020 at approximately 1355 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a gunshot in the Three Bears Alaska store on Pittman Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Jared Sukert, age 32 of Seward, was using the restroom when his handgun, with a round in the chamber and hammer cocked, fell out of a concealed holster and discharged. The bullet shot through a wall in the vicinity of store patrons. Charges of Misconduct Involving Weapons will be forwarded to the DAO for review.

7In Hawaii, we have finally gotten covid under control, and the peer pressure is great for people to wear masks. I have had such a good winter isolated from tourist germs that I plan to continue to wear masks during snow bird season.
