Literally Shooting Your Mouth Off

December 01, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

The Hunk de Jour at the Beauty Salon is Chris Krebs, the former chief of U.S. cybersecurity, who went on the electric teevee to say that this election was fair and believable.

Trump, who hired this guy, countered by saying that this was the most corrupt election ever. Oh no, wait, not just in presidential history – really ever.  Nothing has been this corrupt since Cain and God had a little discussion about who was whose brother’s keeper and the tie vote was claimed as a win by God.

So Trump’s lawyers rush in to defend him and first shot out of the holding pen is Joseph diGenova, a man slicker than your average oil spill.

diGenova has thought this through and prepared a well research and thoughtful response to make in the name of the President of the United States of America.

“Anybody who thinks the election went well, like that idiot Krebs who used to be the head of cybersecurity, that guy is a class A moron. He should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.”

Well, there you go.

Krebs had an answer this morning.

Only the best nutcases are good enough to represent Trumpf, and really repugnanticans in general. DiGenova is Giuliani with a bad mustache.
And as for repugnanticans, there’s this you might have read on Raw Story:

Promise, last post- looks like Billie Barrf grew some knuts and put out a statement that his DOJ has found no voter fraud that would change the election results. Gosh, that took some guts- expect to be taking the holidays off Billie cuz Trumpf is never going to forgive you. Now who will DUHtrumpf appoint as acting AG- Giuliani or diGenova. Tough choice.

Krebs’s response has a big honking bayonet embedded:

“The way I look at it is, we are a nation of laws and I plan to take advantage of those laws,” he said. “I’ve got an exceptional team of lawyers that win in court, and I think they’re probably going to be busy.”

It’s the “that win in court” barb, which will probably go so far over the alleged heads of Trump’s elite legal team, that they won’t even hear the whoosh it makes.

Also, I have not been watching TV, but is that a photo of Ron Jeremy that JJ attached above?

There was chitchat on MSNBC this morning suggesting that diGenova could easily lose his law license. I’ll believe that when i see it, but I’d also pay to see that.

Powell is advocating military tribunals, which is one area of law I know a bit about. She should be making it hard for lawyers to stay in the Republican Party but with an exception here and there, evidently it’s not working.

  5. I wish I knew what happened to diGenova. He was an aide to the (very) liberal Sen Charles Mathias of Maryland–who was sidelined by the RWNJs in the Reagan administration and who believed that DC had a right to representation in the Senate and just took on that job even though he was a Rethug. Joe d then became the US Attorney for DC and acquitted himself well, for a Rethug. Then he married Victoria and has become stark raving mad.

  6. Grandma Ada says:

If even a hair on the head of Mr. Karen’s is injured, di Genova should have an incitement charge against him!

Mr. Krebs not Karen – darn spellcheck!

I hope that Mr. Krebs gets his job back in the Biden administration, that he sues diGenova for every nickel he has and wins, and that Mr. diGenova loses his license to practice law. That would make for a very merry Christmas. Well, considering how slowly the wheels of Justice turn, maybe a very merry Christmas in 2028? Just in time for a second term for President Harris.

What does it take to get a lawyer disbarred? Calling for the death of a former government official (he also mentioned drawing and quartering, which has never occurred in this country) seems like it might attract the interest of an ethics committee. The line between zealously representing your client (Trump?) and fomenting violence is not that fine. And I’m sure Krebs, like Fauci, Raffensperger, and countless other “enemies of the people,” is already getting death threats.

  10. Elizabeth Moon says:

Republicans seem particularly addicted to suggesting lurid and violent ends for those who displease them. For women who annoy the MRA, it’s rape (often gang-rape), torture, disfigurement, dismemberment, and death following all the above (“and they’ll never find your body…”) For men, it’s shooting, stabbing, hanging, and now drawing and quartering. They seem to want everything to end in the death penalty.

Dangerous men. Are they all on steroids, or what?
