Momma, do not click this link.

Leave comments over there at Outsmart.  It won’t make you gay.  Unless, of course, you already are. Then it will make you big and gay.

Have fun.

We Can Disappear You

Well, former House Speak Dennis Hastert just disappeared.

Something is missing from the U.S. Capitol: former Speaker Dennis Hastert’s portrait.

All former speakers have a portrait hanging outside the House floor. But on Monday morning, as the House gaveled into session, Hastert’s portrait was replaced with Frederick Gillett’s. Gillett was speaker between 1919 and 1925.

It’s not clear where Hastert’s portrait is now.

Hmmmmm … has anybody checked the boy’s locker room?

I will admit that Frederick is an imposing looking fellow.

All Is Forgiven

Bridgeport, Connecticut, has to be the most forgiving city in America.

628x471Last night, they re-elected Mayor Joe Ganim fresh from his seven year stint in federal prison for … embezzling taxpayer money from the last time he was mayor.  Not only that, the guy got 59% of the vote.

“I am committed to moving Bridgeport forward and, as I have said, I will continue to put the best interests of the community first,” Malloy said in a statement on Tuesday.

Voters elected him five times starting back in the 1990s, before he served seven years behind bars.

He’s a Democrat. Everybody keep your fingers crossed.

And in related news, Kentucky elected a crazzzybutt Republican for governor.  Most shocking of all, people are acting surprised about it.

Juanita Wants You To Adopt a County

November 04, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Note from Juanita:  I only ask you guys for money once every two years.  I work with Glen Maxey to insure that every Texas Democrat over the age of 65 gets a mail ballot application.  This year, they are good for every election for the entire year.  I told Glen that it is his to do the begging this year.

By: Glen Maxey

You remember how we bragged about Texas actually passing a GOOD election law in 2013 that allowed a senior or disabled person to apply to vote by mail using ONE application for all the elections in an entire election year?

And then in 2014, we increased the number of Democratic seniors who were voting by mail by thousands over the similar election of 2010? We even had more vote in a low turnout Governor’s election than did in the 2012 re-election of Obama!

So a new election year dawns for Texas in 2016. And we have about 687,413 probable Democrats who are over age 65 eligible to vote my mail. We want to be sure all of them vote in person if possible, but for those who cannot, we need to put a filled out, ready to sign and mail, vote-by-mail application in their hands.

So here’s the deal.   There’s 198,825 seniors who actually voted by mail in the past elections! At a minimum, we want all of them to have an renewal application for 2016 before the March 1, 2016 Democratic Primary.   And the icing on this Democratic cake is that when they do apply, they’ll automatically get their ballot next November to vote for the next Democratic President.

So we’re shaking the bucket once again here at the Beauty Shop. It cost about two quarters to print and mail an application to Granny in Kermit or Elmo, Sunrise or Sunset, or even Gun Barrel City or Cut and Shoot, or my favorite: Jot ‘Em Down!

We have some small counties who simply cannot raise the money for the vote by mail applications.  You can help by donating.  If you donate $5 or more, you will get an email from Susan to thank you from her own personal email address, but you must refrain from writing it on bathroom walls this time.

Here’s the link to give to the cause:

What Do You Get When You Mix Tupelo, Mississippi, and the Confederate Flag? I’m Not Sure But It Rarely Has IQ Points.

November 03, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Marshall E. Leonard of Tupelo, Mississippi, was heavily perturbed that the local 24-hour Walmart stopped selling the confederate flag.

Screen Shot 2015-11-03 at 2.43.58 PMHe was so perturbed that he made a bomb and drove it to Walmart in his heavily bedazzled silver Mazda decked with stickers of the confederate flag and a 4 foot long Mississippi flag on a flexible pole. It is what folks call “a memorable car.”

Long aout 2:00 am, Leonard drove up to Walmart and walked in the front door, nicely warning workers to get out because he’s “going to blow this place up.”

The explosive made a loud bang but did no damage when it was thrown early Sunday into the 24-hour Walmart in Tupelo, Police Chief Bart Aguirre said Monday. He said bomb technicians reported that the package held enough explosive to damage the store if it had been assembled differently.

And by “differently,” they mean “correctly.”

He then escapes in his car, and gets arrested for running a red light a mile away from the Walmart.

“He’s a strong supporter of keeping that flag flying. … This is his way of bringing attention to that,” Aguirre said.

I couldn’t have said that better myself.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Hey Virginia, That’s Real White

Whoa, cover your ears because the dog whistle is blaring!  Okay, kiddos, let’s visit Virginia where this flyer went out today. Click the little one to see the big one.

Because, as it is written, black people and brown people are not part of our “Christian Heritage.” You know, they can be Christian but heritage? Nope, not heritage.

And Democrats?  Not Christians.

So there ya go.  Next year, they might speak louder so we all can hear when they say, “Vote for white people.”  Plus three women out of 15 candidates is just about half, right?

My suggestion is that you print this out and use it as a bingo card.  As they start getting arrested for perverted hanky panky stuff or theivery, put a bean on their face.  Once you bingo, you win a barrel of giggles.

Thanks to David for the heads up.
