Arrrggghhhhh

Every single time John Boehner opens his mouth, I do not hear a human voice.  Instead, I hear the sound of a spoon being pounded against a high chair tray.

boehnerHe is a child having a hissy for to be fed … with attention.  So he’s suing the President.  Of all the asinine things to do.  We’ve got a a million problems but Boehner wants to take depositions.

Boehner writes

But too often over the past five years, the President has circumvented the American people and their elected representatives through executive action, changing and creating his own laws, and excusing himself from enforcing statutes he is sworn to uphold — at times even boasting about his willingness to do it, as if daring the American people to stop him.

Uh, maybe I’m delusional but it seems to me that Republicans dared the American people to stop President Obama in November of 2012 and we replied, “Hey, kiss our big blue butts.”

Okay, so I went searching for some numbers.  In 2012, even without an opponent, 239,221 citizens of Ohio voted for Boehner.

In 2012, Barak Obama got 65,899,660 votes.

But, Boehner claims that he speaks for “the American people.”  All 239,221 of them.

So, here’s what I’m saying.  Barack Obama is not daring the American people to stop him.  He’s daring the gerrymander Republican congress to stop the American people.

Hey, Boehner, you’re a son of a motherless goat.  So sue me, too, Cheetos.

Be social and share!

  1. Don A in Pennsyltucky says:

If the President is failing to take care that the laws are carefully executed, there is a Constitutional remedy available to the House. But since that would be sure to fail and backfire, Bonehead is playing to the grandstand.

  2. If they sue the President, when will they have time for yet another vote to repeal of the Affordable Care Act? The 50th or 60th time has got to be the charm.

  3. Was Boehner paying any attention at all when Baby Bush made his umpteen “signing statements” that he was signing this here law but felt free to ignore it if he felt like it?

And, John, it’s real easy to make an end-run around a Congress that’s sitting on its butt in the mud. It’s even kind of imperative if you’re trying to run a big country.

Just another Boenhead move from a grandstanding clown who’s preaching to the choir.

  5. What’s truly weird is that last I heard Boehner plans to sue the President, but Boehner is not sure yet what he’ll sue about.

Oh, JJ, c’mon now! For the party that has brought government to almost a standstill they’ve gotta at least LOOK like they’re doin’ something.

Boehner’s “lawsuit” is a joke. He doesn’t have standing to sue the President. So now we have to undergo even more hearings on this totally bogus charge. I think he’s jealous of all the press Issa has gotten with his IRS sham hearings and wants some attention for his ownself.

  12. Day after day after day it’s let’s bash the POTUS. On local radio here in SW Florida it’s rush limp and this guy todd schnitt and they never have anything good to say about anything. They don’t know how to tell the truth all they do is screech and scream, how pathetic their lives must be. All they do is project their own insecurities on their listeners who apparently buy the bs. It’s sad and pathetic and I don’t understand how supposedly intelligent people buy their idiotic opinions.
