I read someplace that Trump was calling this the “Chinese” virus.  I couldn’t stop with just rolling my eyes, shaking my head, and banging the desk with my fist.

The Amazing Racist just got my goat.

I have decided to call it TrumpVirus – he broke it, he bought it.

Any other ideas?

It appears that a score of doctors, public health officers, scientists, immunologists, and world leaders have finally broken through Trump’s Big Beautiful Wall of Ignorance and he awoke for a short period of time this afternoon to acknowledge that the Coronavirus pandemic that is overrunning global medical care facilities is “bad”.  Only a few days ago he was blabbering that the virus would just disappear, “like magic” and that people shouldn’t worry about it.  During his mixed word salad serving, he even admitted that the pandemic is not going away anytime soon.  He relapsed almost immediately, giving himself “a 10” for his response to the crisis by managing the entire threat with his head up is ass for months.

Louie single handedly blocked the Coronavirus bill in Congress.

Gohmert was among 40 Republicans who voted against the bill that overwhelmingly passed the House on Saturday and was endorsed by President Donald Trump. In a statement explaining his vote, the Texas Republican praised how Trump had negotiated the package but said, “This crucial bill was not even given the normal amount of time to debate it on the House floor.”

I wasn’t going to tell you about this until later, but Democrats finally have a serious candidate to run against Gohmert.  Go give $5 (or more, depending on how mad you are) to my friend Hank Gilbert.  I met Hank about in 2006 when he was campaigning for Agriculture Commissioner in Texas.  Hank’s a real cowboy. He’s smart, hard working, and as kind as they come.

Go meet Frank and tell him Thank You for taking on Louie and whipping his butt.

Come to find out, Mexico is taking about closing the border with the United States.  They don’t want Coronavirus from the United States.

Mexican Deputy Health Minister Hugo Lopez-Gatell said contagion from the United States was a threat.

“If it were technically necessary to consider mechanisms of restriction or stronger surveillance we would have to take into account not that Mexico would bring the virus to the United States, rather that the United States could bring it here,” he told a news conference.”

They are particularly worried about Tijuana.  They are afraid that Mexican workers will come back infected.

So I guess the tables have turned on Trump’s disgusting descriptions of the citizens of Mexico.  Trump wants a wall to lock all of us in.

Okay, so when they announced that Trump did not have coronavirus, I didn’t believe it. I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t except that his doctors lie about him as a matter of routine, leaving me to think if they said he didn’t have it, he did.

Okay, now hear me out. I think there was supposed to be a second part to the announcement.  I think the reason they postponed him having the test is that they wanted to say that not only did he not have it, it was discovered that he is the only person on earth to have natural antibodies to coronavirus.  He is the Henrietta Lacks of coronavirus and he – and he alone – can save America.

But then, the deal with the German scientists fell through, leaving Trump with no magic cure.

That, my friends, is the only damn way I can come up with an explanation of why the United States would want to buy a scientist’s cure and not share it with anyone else in the world.
