Bill Damn Barr

April 17, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

He has been huddled with Trump’s lawyers and the Mueller report for a few days now?  What the fresh chicken fried hell is that?

Independance?  Nope.

I’ll put up an open place to fuss tomorrow.

Don’t Let Them Fool You!

April 17, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Some people who call themselves scientists have done something weird with chemicals that restored brain activity in dead pigs.

This is not a good idea.

This is the recipe for zombies. It is. Look it up. (1) Get some dead pigs, (2) Get some chemicals … do stuff and you’ve got zombies.

Or maybe the crowd at a MAGA rally.

Either way, quit it.

Case Closed

Just in case you were waiting until tomorrow to decide if Bill Barr is a good guy and honest broker or evil as Satan with a headache, you don’t have to wait.

That sumbitch must love cages and spending your money.  He overruled decisions made in immigration court.

The attorney general announced late last night that migrants who come to this country seeking asylum may wind up jailed indefinitely while they wait months or even years for their claims to be considered. Barr’s 11-page decision applies to migrants who have already established “a credible fear of persecution or torture” in their home country.

You don’t want to be tortured or killed by your government?  Hey, we’ll do it for you right here in the good ole USA!

Why hold asylum seekers at taxpayer expense when they can be let go on bond? If they jump bail, they lose their case and be deported. This is just being mean for no damn good reason.

But, then again, that’s Trump’s base. Mean people with no damn good reason.

And it’s only going to get worse as Trump campaigns for reelection.

Uh Oh, They Told The Truth

April 16, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Word has it that there’s about a dozen people still working at the White House who are terrified that the Mueller report is going to mention their names.

Why?

“They got asked questions and told the truth, and now they’re worried the wrath will follow,” one former White House official said.

Now ain’t that a damn shame?

One person close to the White House said there is “breakdown-level anxiety” among some current and former staffers who cooperated with the investigation at the direction of Trump’s legal team at the time.

I gotta tell you that I am deeply sorry that our country is in this state. However it’s hard for me to work up sympathy for the people who are scared. Why didn’t they get a better job? Think about it: “Trump White House” is not going to look too good on a resume. Hell, phone solicitor or Stormy Daniel’s stylist is a better job posting.

I guess we just have to watch Trump’s Twitter feed to know who told the truth.

Perspectives

A reader sent me this today from Facebook.

A 21 year old man has been charged with arson in three of the burnings and it is being evaluated by authorities as a hate crime.  He’s being held without bond.

He is not Isis or an immigrant. He is white and the son of a deputy sheriff.

St. Mary Baptist Church, which is in Port Barre, was the first church burned, on March 26/ The Greater Union Baptist Church in Opelousas burned a week later. On April 4, a fire destroyed Mount Pleasant Baptist Church on Highway 182 south of Opelousas.

No one was killed. This time.

Ted Cruz’s Money

April 16, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

In case you missed it, you’ll be happy to know that Ted Cruz has had some bad news in his life.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign is paying a $35,000 fine to the Federal Election Commission for failing to accurately report more than $1 million in loans that helped underwrite his first Senate bid.

But, $35,000 isn’t the end of it. He sure paid some lawyers a whole lot of money to lose.

If your eyesight is real good, you can see that Ted paid $19,631 to an Austin law firm to lose.  That makes me happy.  If you want to go nosing through his campaign expenditures have some fun.
