Well, I Guess It All Balances Out

March 18, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

The IRS is giving you a 90 day extension if you have to pay taxes.

I don’t trust the sumbitches in charge.  Mnuchin seems real good at taking other peoples’ money.

The deadline extension, announced Tuesday, is an effort to immediately free up household money. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing people inside to “socially distance” themselves to slow the spread, and that’s cutting down cash flow for businesses and workers.

See, I’m thinking they’re hoping that instead of saving that money for 90 days, you’ll use it to fix up your house so come mid-July they’ll just come take your house when you ain’t got the money.  That’s how much I don’t trust these guys.

And then on the upside of the downside

The stock market’s latest dip Wednesday did more than wipe out billions of dollars in investor equity. It also obliterated President Donald Trump’s favorite measure of his economic success.

But he still gives himself a ten!

Be social and share!

  1. What it amounts to is if you are an individual you can hold off paying up to $1 million in taxes for 90 days and if you are a corporation/business, you can hold off paying up to $10 million in taxes. Any bets on where most of the payment delays will be applied? 🙂

This isn’t for Ye or me, Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself. No doubt Mnunchin and his grifter buddies would like to hold onto the tax dollars they rarely if never pay for use in shorting the market and otherwise capitalizing on the economic stress of others. Next up, Wilbur Ross offering a one time only good deal on a ‘cheap’ loan to you for effecting those repairs. Hold on tight to Ben, because you know old Wilbur will want more than the deed to your house and the titles on your vehicles in exchange for his ‘generosity.’ If one of Bitsy DeVile’s yachts pulls up to the dock, grab the kid and run …

megasoid @2, oh the movie/book. Scarier would be the Reaganesque 1984 that has been paving the way to 2016 and IQ4.5* with his wrecking ball maladministration.

Now slipstream, you know Donnie* is perfect. He* told us so, and what more to prove it than a perfect 50/50 in the COVID-19 lotto?

Grandma Ada, probably a Republicon twofer – raise your taxes later and take your Social Security to pay for the corporate giveaways.

  9. Any bets on whether whatever handout we get is taxable?

Also, how many trumpists will refuse the handout because it’s socialism? I’m guessing a big fat zero.

  11. When the Democratic Party starts nominating a candidate who actually has a chance to win a majority of electoral collage votes, and against the Trumpster, that is about anyone NOT named Clinton, the Repugnents will be kicked to the side line to whither and die!

Hillary would have been a great president, but she was a candidate sure to lose the election.
