McCain starts out by chastising party leaders for not backing Donald Trump, saying they are “out of step” with voters. But then he demands an apology from Trump for saying tacky things about POWs. Not for himself, you know, but for others.
Ask if he would campaign for Trump, McCain said …
“A lot of things would have to happen. I think it’s important for Donald Trump to express his appreciation for veterans, not John McCain, but veterans who were incarcerated as prisoners of war.”
He added: “I’d like to see him retract that statement. Not about me, but about the others.”
Yeah, John, not about you.
As long as we’ve got apologizing on our minds, I might as well tell you about this: McCain says he has “no regrets” about wanting to put Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency.
“I don’t often make a comment like this. But she was treated terribly by what we know as the mainstream media and that’s the only thing I will ever resent about my presidential campaign is her treatment by the media. It was disgraceful.”
John McCain has lost what was left of his damn mind. John McCain has some apologizing to do.
And now McCain is suggesting Joni Ernst, pig castrator, as running mate for Trump. Yep, John McCain has all the credentials needed for a vice presidential consultant. Joni Ernst, the Koch Brothers house pet who also believes that Planned Parenthood needs to die, is a great idea, John. Joni Ernst is Palin Palin with a serious haircut.
Joni Ernst is a huge disappointment. She promised to make “them” squeal. Maybe she can redeem herself as Donnie Drumpf’s running mate, if she makes him squeal.
As for McCain, word on the streets in AZ politics is that he may be clearing the way for a rare Democratic Senator from AZ.

3Hair Drumpf has not said what qualities he will seek in a Veep. Now I doubt he’ll go for famed hog nutter Joni. He has the farm vote by the uhhhh well he alread has the farm vote.
He will select a veep that will yield votes he wouldn’t otherwise get. Hispanic or black, yes. Female, I think not. Hair Drumpf likely feels he has the female vote sewed up.
4If Drumpf picks a woman for VP, you can bet it will be based entirely on her looks. It’s easy to tell he is entirely a bimbo fan. SD’s snacilbupeR Rep. Kristie Noem fits the bill in all areas. She is a pretty, Koch pet, bimbo. Right epo?
5If I were D. Trump, I would be very wary of Joni Ernst, given her previous occupation.

10What a pickle GOPers have gotten themselves into. They can either endorse Drumpf and look like a bunch of idiots to most Americans or they can refuse to endorse him and be vilified for not endorsing him. It really sucks to be them. It almost makes you feel sorry for them. Almost.

I could happily have kicked Trump in the googlies for what he said about POWs (yeah, you slimeball, let’s see how brave YOU are under fire!) but I could equally happily have wrapped McCain in a strait jacket and sedated him to give an excuse for some of the things he’s said. What an idiot. As for Palin…[a string of redactions.] Of course Perry will support Trump–he admires bullies; he’s the puppy who wants to join the big dog’s pack. Cheney probably thinks he can work Trump, but devious as Cheney is…no. The Bushes…nobody really cares what the Bushes do this time around anyway. They have no influence to lend, and are mostly suffering from Aristocrattus rejectus. The Shrub bled away all the remaining respect for any of the Bush Thicket.
15If McCain truly resented his running mate’s treatment, then he shouldn’t have used her. I know he’s old enough to remember Quayle, and sees the treatment of Wild Joe now…
After he got hit with the “brown baby” BS, surely he should understand that there are few limits to how low political opponents can go. Kinda like Gov. Palin….
16There are so many GOPers who deserve opprobrium that it is hard to single out just one but I’m gonna try. How does the first female Veep choice for the GOP NOT box tRump’s ears for what he said about loser/prisoners of war? And then jump all over Paul Ryan for standing off an extra 12 inches from tRump? If it weren’t for McCain, she never would have had the chance to take a running leap from Alaska and land where there just ain’t no snow, something she obviously wanted to do big time. Its obvious she has no brain. Add obviously no guts.
17What with a serious contender for his seat waiting in the wings, McCain is just getting a head start on his move into COMPLETE irrelevance. All I can say is, good for him and it’s about damn time.
