Thousands of Hotels putting up Doctors & Nurses. Trump’s Hotels? What do You Think?

April 18, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Coronavirus, Corruption, Trump

Thousands of hotels are offering lodging for weary medical personnel at deep discounts or even free.  They are doing their part in the pandemic, giving doctors and nurses a safe and clean space to rest and rejuvenate.  The White House has praised these hotels.  There’s only one notable absence though…Trump hotels.  Not ONE Trump owned or operated hotel is offering any rooms anywhere in the US.

Most of Trump’s hotels are closed or on minimal staff, and Trump is losing millions of dollars.  Could it be just a coincidence that he’s pushing to relax pandemic restrictions so he can reopen his hotels?  Of course it is.  Trump never does anything in his own interests, does he?

  2. Any offer by Trump fleabags to house doctors or nurses must be STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Any appropriation of hotel rooms should go to other hotel chains. An appropriation of a hotel room is a taking under the Constitution entitles the owner to compensation. If we’re going to appropriate hotel rooms, we cannot allow Dumb$hit Donnie to use that as an excuse to rape the taxpayers.

Thank goodness we have business people in this country who think beyond themselves. I hope we will hear names and locations so we can return the favor and stay there when travel is safe!

  4. Reminds me of that beggar/tv preacher who was trolling for stimulus checks. When they needed his mega-church building for a disaster shelter, it wasn’t available.

  5. If he can figure out how to overcharge the American taxpayers for every room as well as cleaning fees after the fact, he might do it. Of course, there would need to be the stipulation that he could put an end to it and re-open to the public (foreign diplomats and donors who stay in his resorts) on a dime.

    To be refuges from disaster…

  7. Medical personnel are just working class stiffs, not the bigwigs Crime Family Trump want to have at their locations.

MAGAts are useful stooges for votes but other than that, Crime Family Trump just doesn’t give a crap

Letting Grandma die so Spankee can go play golf again is about as callous as you can get.

  8. I remember that. It was Joel whatshisname, the pretty boy preacher who wouldn’t let people in after Katrina. He’s as low as the rest of them.

As an actual fiscal conservative I don’t like the structure of the current stimulus packages. Trickle down has never worked, and in this instance the graft and corruption at the top leaves unaccounted for $billions flying into the hands of corporate and Wall Street welfare, while hourly wage earners are being stiffed. The IRS is quite capable of taking from them weekly or bi-weekly, so the structure is there to pay them $600 weekly. I am not concerned about a few dollars that might be incidentally given out. However, $2,000,000,000,000 in the hands of Steve Mnunchin and Covidiot* 45? That concerns me. Apparently it concerns Jughead Kushner, too, as he has his grubby hands out to glean every $billion he can for old 666.

It’s so simple that we don’t need Alfredo to do the math for us. But instead of Covidiot* 45 lying to us nightly with one of his grifty campaign rallies, let’s have one hour of truth a night. Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself, Alfredo and Friends explaining economics and pandemic response to Republicons.

The college I attended is across a highway from the hospital where I worked. Staff may stay in the dorms which have apartments or suites if they choose. No charge.

    I am proud.

It’s not just the rooms. Hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas have opened their pantries to people who need food, ranging from hospital workers to the homeless. Except for one hotel, that is. As a hint, its initials are Trump Hotel.

The sad thing is that this food will just go to waste. Getting it cleaned out of the pantries and fridges will actually help the hotel when it starts back up. But better have decayed food in dumpsters than risk feeding someone who won’t give money to Trump.
