The Tide is Going Out for a Certain Florida Politician
We saw the crack in the dam of invincibility a few days ago when the RNC confirmed they’ll stop paying TFG’s legal bills after he declares for the presidency. Today, total waste of oxygen, Mick Mulvaney (who is inexplicably now a CBS News “analyst”) said that “[TFG] is the only Republican who can lose in 2024.” Granted, he told that truth only after telling the whopper that election denial is a “both sides do it” problem, with the caveat that in order to come to that conclusion, you have to ignore January 6th. LOL.
Mulvaney is a clown, liar, and partisan hack who most certainly has no place taking up time on national television; but he is a measuring stick for the Red Tide, and when he goes against TFG (and he’s been moving there for a time) that tide is clearly going out for him.
It certainly looks and sounds like tRump is being eaten from the inside of his base. Seems like a lot of tRump-like people throughout history have had the same experience.
1I enjoyed Mick a lot more when he was in the TV commercials for PC Matic. That was a real step up for him from the White House. He’s a guy that if I were watching CBS, I’d immediately change the channel.
2WT_ was CBS thinking? I know, attract some Fox News viewers. I hope sometime an actual CBS news person asks him about some of the crap he did when he was in the White House. Watch him squirm.
3Encouraging news, thanks! Even Fox Lies & Hate, WSJ, and other rags have thrown tRump under the bus on occasion which is an important indication. Heck this deranged, vengeful, sadistic, treasonous psycho malignant narcissist should have been locked up a long time ago.
4Mick Mulvaney becoming a CBS News “analyst” once again proves Conservatives control 75-80% of the MSM. They CONTROL the message… OMG inflation, raising gas prices, Repubs are winning …. Benghazi!!!
Not to mention Conservatives (aka white entitlement, christian fundamentalists, corporate fascists) now own CNN and Twitter.
5Muck Mulvaney is way dumber than he looks. Hope he, every Qcumber Nazi, and pollster eats crow later tonight or tomorrow. A fat steady diet of Karl Rove aka “we cheated and lost”? fattened crow.
Not that predicting numbers from a microcosm is statistically accurate. But. When you take a historically conservatard congressional district such as where we are in NW Nevaduh with both early voting and mail-in ballots the poll presence was strong today. Jane and I have been driving since the polls opened and are booked thru poll closing at 7 tonight. And, FWIW, we’re in blizzard and white-out road conditions. We’re sure hoping this voter enthusiasm means what we think it means – a BIG Bust the R’s Bubble Blue Tsunami.
