A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

3So proud of my 18 year old “almost” god-daughter, who voted on Tuesday
4I posted it to my nephews’ social media accounts immediately after viewing it. Their parents are good at finding excuses for not voting, so I posted it to theirs too, reminding my brother that our paternal grandmother was a life-long labor union organizer and would kick his ass, even from the “other side,” if he even considers not voting.

6There were people who marched and were beaten and arrested and force-fed when they went on hunger strikes in prison and all kinds of mean nasty ugly s*** so you could vote so GET your little ass down to that polling place and VOTE! And pay attention before you go so you know who and what to vote for!
7Done and done. I got to my early voting place in NC the second day. I had worked on my sample ballot. I didn’t want to make a mistake and vote for a single republican.
8Of course the thing that infuriates me most i couldn’t avoid. Running the gauntlet of republicans passing out BS blocking the way. The same people that had stood and watched me struggle to get my walker out and opened.
Then one bully wanted to get sassy when i told him ‘’’nicely’’ to get out of my way. I wouldn’t vote for a republican if it was my own son.
