  1. I have always worried about all those guns along the border, how it would take only one “accidental” shot to start a massacre that would put a permanent blot on the copy books of both our military and our country. I know they have been taught not to shoot unless fired upon which is very, very unlikely with a bunch of ragged hungry exhausted poor people, but there is always that one nightmare that hangs on.

Stupid, yes. What struck me was the last paragraph, stating that the administration is considering cutting off aid to the Central American countries from which these refugees are coming. What kind of fuzzy-headed madness thinks that doing so will stem the tide? It will only make the conditions which they are trying to escape worse.

pResident no comprende Posse Comitatus is once again pussy challenged. Cadet Bone Spurs has zero grasp of the reality of the military, DOJ, LE and all agencies of “we the people.” Grab a clue Donnie, career people in OUR government do NOT work for you, you Emolument challenged self dealing POS.

  4. Jane & PKM says:

maggie, Dotard45’s failure to embrace women and children seeking asylum and refuge is an international disgrace. While his maladministration has already stolen children at a moral cost from which we may never recover, but will certainly bear ridiculous and unnecessary costs to the children, their families, and if the ***king moron allegedly fiscal conservatives had a clue, unnecessary fiscal cost. The snacilbupeR who continue to prostate themselves before Donnie deserve to be endlessly shamed with their hypocrisy of “family values” and patsy patriotism. Santorum sucking schlubs who defend his atrocities, particularly those like ‘itch McConnell and Lyin’ Ryan, I seriously dunno if there is a fate worthy of their malfeasance.

    2018. Vote and hope!

  5. Jane & PKM says:

Jere Armen, while your question deserves a better answer than “it is what it is” that is the sorry state spineless snacilbupeR in Congress have imprinted on the body politic.

Ummm, isn’t it the National Guard who is mandated for border issues? I do recall the last batch of Nat’l Guard minions he sent to dramatize his border dog and pony show for the base…complaining about being bored out of their minds and just wandering around aimlessly.

Heads up for those who are interested in the coordinated cover-up of the Khashoggi murder — here is an English language news provider from Turkey. No doubt the journalist who wrote this article is now on the list of Dead Man Talking. This journo seems a bit too informed and talkative for the likes of our Oval Office and the Saudis.

  7. Just point out that demented Donnie is implementing Jade Helm occupation of Texas.
Play on the fantasy that the “organized” resistance scared off Obama but that doddering donnie wants to prove he can invade Texas and do what Obama couldn’t.

    7
  8. Jere Armin, cutting off aid to stop refugees is from the same GOP school of “thought” as cutting off birth control and sex education to stop abortions.

Since this “caravan” is such a vote-getter for Trump and is a constant headline for days and weeks right before the election, I call false flag. I know it’s stupid, but it’s just as stupid as calling the pipe bombs sent to prominent Democrats a false flag. I say Trump orchestrated the whole caravan and they’re all being paid by the GOP.

    8
  9. What are the chances?
A mass movement of illegal immigrants headed for the US border, right before the election? Well, sending 800 soldiers to the several thousand mile long stretch of land and river between Mexico and America should stop them.

What? Pipe bombs mailed to Democrats is now dominating the news cycle? Let’s turn on Lou ‘Doddering’ Dobbs at Fox Business Channel. Oh, George Soros himself sent out the bombs to take away from the all important news story (or is it an old story?) that illegal immigrants are, even as we speak, approaching the border.

    That makes sense.

  10. Jane & PKM says:

K, the hypocrisy and dystopian fantasies of the Dotard45 crowd suspend belief. “Heads buried in the sand” doesn’t begin to describe the irony of their self deceiving ways. If not so pathetically sad, would nominate the Mooche’s book as belly howl of the century, Donnie as “man of the blue collar worker.” Yeah, every working American starts out with a $million dollar stake in life. Oops, 430+ million from ‘dad’ plus whatever the Russians, Saudi and others have kicked in; my bad.

Meanwhile we’re expected to believe Messy entered on an intellectual ‘genius’ visa. Head. Desk. Ouch.

  11. @Jane & PKM
“..the hypocrisy and dystopian fantasies of the Dotard45 crowd suspend belief…”
I agree and pushing the story that one of those damn yankee’s ( doddering don is from NY) who has insulted the south and its accents as stupid is running a Jade Helm scam just to prove how he can “invade and conquor” texas something what Obama couldn’t do because of those “brave” texans resisting the military.
Be willing to bet that some of them buy it. Watching that would be fun.
Hey what is one more conspiracy among many.

    ps
Heard where doddering don sent his cia/torture, Gina Haspel, honcho to Turkey to listen to the torure murder tape of Khashoggi.
I have visions of her with headphones an and a dreamy far away look thinking of how she loved these sounds and would have her own except she had to defy the courts and her bosses by destroying them thus depriveing her of a night time pleasure of reliving those days when she could torture people at will by viewing the tapes.
oh well alls good she may have violated the law but in exchange she got a promotion.

  12. @Rick #9:

Why would natives of Central America choose this time of year to migrate? (Harvest over? Choice for healthplan? Someone organized them?)
What would get progressives up in arms against 45 like nothing else? (Children in cages? Loss of healthcare? Attacks on Democratic Party icons and MSM?)
When the upcoming election occurs, and the progressive side of politics has a chance to attack 45’s agenda, what will drive the “nationalists” wild? OR If the progressives do NOT do well, what would send them even further over the edge? (A C.A. invasion? Rampant voter suppression?)

Given all the events occurring up until now, and going forward, who would benefit most from the USA tearing itself apart internally, while 45 continues to dismantle the government functionality both foreign and domestic?

It all seems too weird. But I can think of at least one group that wins in any case…

    12
  13. Where were those brave texans of yore.
When the saying was 1 ranger 1 riot, and all the other macho posturing they are so widely known for.
Yet now they are so afraid of a group of hungry, tired, ill fed people including women and children that they are running to the feds to violate texas soviernty and protect them from that crowd of sick, persecuted and oppressed migrants.
either the texans have turned into wusses or your state leaders are conspiring ( but no collusion) with demented donnie to allow an occupying force into texas with no agreement as to when they will leave.
Must be the worst of the reconstruction with northern carpetbaggers, such as canadian rafael, coming down to loot the state.

  14. *Sigh*

Looks like my scenario isn’t as far fetched as I’d hoped: “MSNBC’s Chuck Todd Speculates Russians Could Be Behind Mail Bombs”

  15. And who knows, Rump may have encouraged the Russians to do it. Filthy lucre may have traded hands, too.

  16. PKM, I am trying to find the name of the book Teddy Roosevelt read a thousand times. It was on the subject of leadership and the writer was an ancient Roman. If I can find a copy I want to give it to my grandson. Even at his young age he is very very down on everything he sees that is political. There was a retired army general o TV recently, I think his name was McShirly and plugged this book but the name completely escapes me. But if it was good enough for Teddy to adore it certainly would be good enough for my grandson.

    16
  17. @maggie #16

    “The Prince” ? Machivelli
depending upon ones definition of ancient and roman.
