Because They Are Very Mean People Who Cannot Be Trusted, That’s Why.

Okay, so let’s pretend that you decided to give a one-time contribution to the Trump campaign of $150.  But, remember – we’re pretending now – they start randomly snatching $150 out of your bank account whenever the spirit moves them.

So let’s also pretend you’re a maid in Crystal Beach, Texas, and you probably don’t make much more than minimum wage.

Now let’s quit pretending.

Meet Pamela Goza from Vidor, Texas, who actually thought that they’d stop taking money out of her checking account once she gave them the number.

Remember Trump’s Voter Fraud Commission?

February 10, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

And remember Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach who headed up the now defunct Commission?

Well, he’s running for Governor of Kansas, and doing everything he can to look like a red-blooded, gun shooting, Jesus praying, star spangled American. That includes being a member of the advisory board for Veterans in Defense of Liberty, a group that claims to be helping veterans.

But, of course, like true Republicans, they are only helping themselves.

A review of the group’s 2014 and 2015 filings with the Internal Revenue Service showed that 94 percent of the money donated to the group went to fundraisers, according to a news release from the Better Business Bureau.

Kobach, who is not – repeat NOT – a veteran, said he has served on the board for six years “because he cares deeply about veterans and veterans’ issues,” but this was the first he heard about any of this money stuff.

Kobach said that his understanding was that money donated to the group was “going to a variety of causes for veterans … and also to support political causes and issues important to veterans as well.”

Veterans in Defense of Liberty’s website includes a July 2017 post calling on veterans to support the push to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

“Brothers and sisters, let us stand strong to our oath! We can no longer sit back and bitch ‘n moan,” the post states.

“We must realize, Americas future rests on our shoulders. President Trump is fighting to make America great again, but he cannot do it alone — we must stand strong and fight for and support him.”

Oh hell yeah, that’s those political causes.  I imagine endorsing Kobach for looking the other way is also one of those political causes.

Sumbitches.  Using veterans to line their own pockets.

Hey, Ducky Boy, Pay The Hell Up!

February 10, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

Texas Republican Congresscreep Blake Farenthold said he would repay the $84,000 he owes us that he spent paying off a victim of his haute couture artisan creepiness.

He said he would and everybody heard it.

Now he looking for a way to cha-cha out of it.  He claims to be waiting for some proposed ethics bill to pass congress. The bill has nothing to do with his theft of our money or his promise to repay it.  He’s just being creepy.

I do not for the life of me understand why he’s still in congress and Al Franken isn’t.  Farenthold has been accused of far, far worse.

You can hound him in the comment sections of his Facebook page.  Snark at him on Twitter.  Call his office on Corpus at 361-884-2222.  You want your money back.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Is There Some Sort of Contest Going On?

February 10, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

Ya gotta wonder if Republicans are having some sort of contest right now.  If so, this guy is probably in the lead right now.

Tim Nolan is an American politician for the Republican Party, a former state district court judge, a former leader in the Tea Party movement and a former chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Kentucky.

Honestly, Folks, that that there should have been a warning that he was up to something perfectly awful.

Former Judge Tim Nolan on Friday agreed to spend 20 years in prison for human trafficking.

He used drugs, threats of arrest and threats of eviction to force women and girls under the age of 18 into sex acts, according to the charges read in court by Judge Kathleen Lape.

Nolan pleaded guilty to 21 counts dating back to 2004. In addition to human trafficking and attempted human trafficking, the charges included giving drugs and alcohol to minors.

Here’s Nolan pictured with someone else doing something perfectly awful.

You know, I am slowly coming to the realization that we should build a wall around white Republican men.

Thanks to Sharon for the heads up.

The ABC’s of Trump

February 09, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

You know who has real power in America? It ain’t the president. It’s the person who reads to the president.

Trump, unlike every other president since Gerald R Ford, does not read his Daily Intelligence Briefing.  Instead, he wants it explained to him.  Do you know the last president who did not read Daily Intelligence briefings? Richard Nixon.

Trump has opted to rely on an oral briefing of select intelligence issues in the Oval Office rather than getting the full written document delivered to review separately each day, according to three people familiar with his briefings.

Honestly, I don’t fret over Trump not having diddle squat reading comprehension.  What I worry about is the fact that we don’t have anybody who can tell the damn truth anydamnwhere in the damn White House.

John Kelly?  Nope. Not that guy. Hope Hicks? Oh, sure.

Aides say Trump receives his in-person intelligence briefing nearly every day, although his publicly released schedules indicate that the sessions have been taking place about every two to three days on average in recent months, typically around 11 a.m.

Yeah, they have to wait until Fox and Fools is over.

Are we great again yet?

Take A Number and Wait in Line

February 08, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself

Republican Congressmen now have to take a number and wait in line to resign.

The latest is California Congressmuck Duncan Hunter.  Hunter is being investigated along with his parents and a female lobbyist he is suspected to be “romantically involved” with. “Romantically involved” is the Republican word for “boinking on the side.”

It strongly appears that Hunter has misspent campaign funds.

According to an ethics report released along with the disclosure, Hunter “may have converted tens of thousands of dollars of campaign funds from his congressional campaign committee to personal use to pay for family travel, flights, utilities, healthcare, school uniforms and tuition, jewelry, groceries and other goods, services, and expenses.”

Hunter’s staff also told the Riverside Press-Enterprise in January that he used campaign funds to pay the $600 cost of flying a family rabbit.

This ain’t the first time Hunter has been in trouble for spending campaign funds for fun.  Over a year ago, he had to repay his campaign for 68 video games (he said his son used the wrong credit card), oral surgery, a family trip to Italy and Disneyland gift shop purchases.

You think he would have learned.  But, nooooo …. Trump got elected and made them bulletproof.

Or maybe not.
