Okay, So Who Are They For?

April 03, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I was not joyful to hear that Jared Kushner was taking over the United States war on a damn pandemic because best I know, Jared isn’t qualified to run a lemonade stand without his father going to prison to cover for him.

There has to be a money angle for Jared to get interested in anything. I’m guessing that I’m taking without you already knowing it.

So, here’s the deal. Jared answering questions from the press about America’s stockpile of equipment to fight the virus.

Okay, Sonny, who do you mean by “our?”  Let me first dissuade you of the silly notion that anything belonging to the federal government does not first and foremost belong to me, and, by the way, to the person reading this and everybody they know.

Nothing, including that podium and flag, belongs to you exclusively. Now, write that on the blackboard 100 times. And quit pulling Betty Sue’s pigtails. Betty Sue does not like you. Go find yourself a little girl who just loves, loves, loves shoes or some damn thing.

So, let me ponder this.  All that equipment belongs to America but not to the United States?

Are you talking like this on purpose just to piss everybody off or should we get you a cute little Prince Charles outfit and a bunker somewhere?

I hate these people, God forgive me, I just hate them.

Thanks to SGray for the heads up.

Jared Kushner in charge of anything is a frightening prospect. Jared Kushner in charge of anything to do with the COVID-19 pandemic is a dangerous, frightening prospect. He understands nothing about what is needed to protect people, the role of the Federal government in providing what is needed by the states, the role of scientists, governors, or Federal officials in understanding and coping with the disease and its aftermath, the financial disruption it will cause or how to deal with it. Nothing. For all the good he will do, he might as well be his father-in-law.

  2. I totally agree!

Seeing this made me realize that Ivanka married her daddy. Without all the need for attention; but with the same ignorance and venality of his FIL. No wonder His Heinous puts his trust in Jared.

  4. I don’t speak Kushnerese, but I’ll give translating Jared a go:

    “… it’s supposed to be our stockpile…”

    It’s a stockpile.
If you give out the supplies to states, there is no longer a stockpile. Having a stockpile is what’s important. Jared, who has no purpose in the government but yet there he is, doesn’t understand that other aspects of the federal government do have a purpose.

For decades now, Republicanites have been claiming government doesn’t work. guess they’re just trying to prove it.

    Kushner sounds like Herbert Hoover.

Out of curiosity, has Kushner explained what the federal stockpile is for? Or does “us” mean the Trump family?

  8. Buttermilk Sky says:

Oh, well, if it’s THEIR stockpile and not the states’ that’s good news for the Indian reservations, which are administered by the federal government. And they can use some good news, because Gov. Grisham of New Mexico says this pandemic could wipe out the Native Americans in her state.

Jughead. Covidiot* 45’s go to routing number for everything emoluments clause violating and general transfer of public funds to his*, family, and crony pockets. While it’s customary for a specific village to call for its idiot, all of 17th-century England is calling for the return of its fop, Jughead. Sorry Machtergreifung, England called first.

Seize the moment Jughead is looking to do even better for he and Ivodka this year with our money. Again. There’s an old military saying: “give it a federal stock number and nobody will get it.” Jughead is about to introduce blue states to the extreme of supply line incompetency.

    9
  10. I remember an old M*A*S*H show that had the doctors trying to get some equipment from a supply officer. He refused because it was all his and he couldn’t give it away. However he was open to an offer.

Here’s the way it works; if Fat Donny wants some critical task to fail, he assigns it to Jared.

  12. Steve from Beaverton says:

Don’t know which is more bizarre- My Pillow man or Jared Kushner at a serious briefing. I hope the voters don’t forget all the tragic stupidity of Trump and his circle of advisors (including Pence). If Trump does in fact call Biden for advice on fighting the Coronavirus like has been rumored, Hope Joe tells him that the country would be better off if he takes his royal family and all his inner circle and spiritual advisors (including Hannity, Limbaugh, Jr Falwell, Franklin Graham and too long a list to mention here) to Mar-a-Lago to quarantine till further notice. Let actual humans run the country.

It blows my mind when the situation is as urgent as it now, happening quickly, in real time for the world to see. But IMHO it’s not just Disaster Capitalism which is bad enough. But it’s also the standard long-time tactic of pure unregulated free market capitalists. Any government service or program remotely socialist must be sabotaged so it looks like it failed on it’s own. Normally through defunding. But to me, this is just an attempt to prove that nothing the Federal government does can be trusted.

  14. The Surly Professor says:

BarbinDC@3 and Steve from Beaverton@12: Both of you are onto something here. Even the most rabid Trump-oids around here despise Jared. The rednecks especially look at him and see the snotty rich kid in school who looked down on everyone. And who they’d love to catch on the way home to beat up. He’s the whiny little brat that even the school teachers hated. The girls who did not say “Eeewww” when he asked them out probably used him to get some nice gifts and corsages, then dumped him for the Prom.

The DNC’s consultants and PR people should really start pushing Jughead as the face of the Trump admin. There are so many valid attacks that can be made on him and his corruption, but coupled with that smarmy, self-satisfied face they could create some killer ads.

    14
  15. Has Jared “officially” replaced Pence?

    15
  16. Incompetent, yes. Illegal, yes. Uncaring, yes. Idiotic, yes. Corrupt, yes. Privileged, yes.

But it’s worse than that. It’s malevolent. They want it to happen this way.

    16
  17. And the NSGOP, formerly known as the NSDAP, sanctioned all this when they voted not to remove Combover Crime Lord.

    17
  18. Grandma Ada says:

Jared in charge? Nothing will change in DC until Ivanka comes down with the virus.

    19
  19. Seriously. It’s been talked about in here before. Is it just coincidink that every. f**kiing. thing. this. subhuman mongrel does destroys every institution that’s made this country what it is? I mean hell, it’s startin’ to look deliberate.

    20
  20. Just to be clear. I’m fully aware of the offensive nature of the descriptors I used @20. Which is why I used them in reference to our current president. The day he was elected I swore I’d never say he wasn’t my president, like so many did with Obama, and I haven’t. I never said I’d show the bottom feeding connesuir of red square sewage currently infesting the White House the slightest syllable of respect he didn’t prove himself worthy of. Having proven himself deserving of orders of magnitude worse than I could ever come up with.

P.P. “Starting” to look deliberate? Starting? Surely you jest. It’s been *obviously* deliberate since day one.

Here, let me translate for you:
“This here stuff is MINE! You got that? It’s MY stuff! And you can’t have it! It’s gonna sit in an underground warehouse somewhere, cuz if we hand it to the states, we could RUN OUT OF IT! And what good is it THEN?”

“There. I knew it would make sense if I spelled it out for you. And besides, my daddy-in-law wants it that way. So there!”

  25. And after that statement, the Website for the emergency stockpile was changed to reflect Kushner’s statement from the original statement saying it was for emergency management for the states and territories.

George Orwell was prescient with the “memory hole” for information.

However, subpages haven’t been changed, so you can see the national stockpile on those pages is still listed for states and territories.

  27. The Surly Professor says:

OK, now I better understand the visceral reaction I have to Jared. It’s not just his actions and his inability to believe someone, somewhere might actually know more than he does about something. He’s the quintessential frat boy dressed up. Salon’s article:

    https://www.salon.com/2020/04/03/kushners-frat-party-coronavirus-team-used-personal-email-and-freeconferencecallcom-officials/

I started teaching at the university level in 1979. In all those years, every case of cheating I’ve encountered involved two categories of students: frat boys and sorority sisters. And most of them had the attitude that it was all my fault, for expecting them to do the work as if they weren’t better than all the non-Greek organization students.

No need to apologize for hating Jared Kushner – he is reprehensible.
