Okay, So Here’s the Plan

If Trump refuses to concede the election, as he has threatened to do, can he be President long enough for us to impeach him?

trump_scumdog(KUTV) Researchers at the University of Utah say there’s a strong case to impeach Donald Trump, should he be elected as president.

Law professor Christopher Peterson said he found ample evidence to charge the Republican candidate with fraud and racketeering, both of which are considered felonies within state and federal law.

And the government has more lawyers the Trump does.  Downside:  terminal whining.

Legal Dawgs can read it here.

  1. I thought the GOP had cornered the market on impeaching a president before they even take office, but we do have a much better basis for impeachment.

Well, since he does not currently hold the office, I am pretty sure we can just ignore him. Is there really anything he can do?

    2
  3. Can’t we just someway, or other, get him to go away?
Every time he opens his D%$# holster, he makes my head spin. God I hope that less than 50% of voters are not bigots with a IQ below 65. The thought makes me want a drink.

Okay. I think we all agree. Enough of Trump. Soo… I propose:

    #StumpTrump.

    NO Trump hotels.
    NO Trump casinos.
    NO Trump golf courses.
    NO Trump products.
    NO Trump brand.

    Take the bastard down.

    Just a thought…..

  5. Let the preparations begin…

    5
  6. Then again, the down side: if Chump was elected and impeached immediately, Mike Pence would be President. He’s just as scary as Trump and a much more capable politician. His legislative record and ideologies are things of horror.

    6
  7. I am a big supporter of indicting newly elected officials between the November election and their taking office in January. One year we had two commissioners and the county judge (not the at-law judges, the county’s CEO) on probation. CSCD carefully scheduled their reporting times to prevent their being a quorum at the CSCD office in the county seat, which would have made their reporting subject to the Texas Open Meetings law :).

So if Hair Drumpf wins, indict his useless a$$ right after November 8th then begin impeachment proceedings on January 21st. Although frankly I dont want to see Gov What’shisbutt as POTUS.

    7
  8. And just think of who Pence might pick as his Veep to fill the blank space he once inhabited! There are way too many just like him in the House of Reps and more than enough in the Senate. Think Rafael Ted Cruz, fer instance! What a launch pad that would be for his presidential run! But do start the impeachment bandwagon rolling NOW! No shilly-shalleying! Send the message at the highest decibels. The Rethugs have been trying like mad to do this very thing for years, all the way back to Jimmy Carter (he carried his own luggage! horrors!) and certainly with Clinton and now Obama. Show the useless wads of DNA that this is a game more than two can play and with greater brio!

  9. Don A in Pennsyltucky says:

I don’t think that there’s any requirement that any candidate concede. And given the way that the electors are selected and required to vote based on state laws, there’s no need for a concession. It’s polite and customary but no one will ever accuse Trump of being polite.

    9
  10. Remember Michael Chertoff? Yes, he was the 1st boss of gwb’s Department of Homeland Security. He was also the Whitewater Persecutor, er, Prosecutor, of the Clinton’s. He’s come out supporting Hillary and basically admitting the Whitewater investigation was political crap.

    10
  11. No way do we want any Rethug in the White House, be it Dump or Pence. That would give them both the WH, the House, possibly the Senate and The Supreme Court. We cannot afford that to happen. It would set back Civil Rights, Equal Rights, Climate Change, overturning Citizens United, Banking/Wall Street Regulation and every other cause we need to fight for.

    11
  12. Pence is worse than trump……..he is quietly sneaky.

    12
  13. Pam Bondy and Greg Abbott should each go to jail for closing Trump U in their states in exchange for a $25,000 campaign contribution.
