Oh Poor Louie UPDATED

March 09, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

You know I would never, ever rejoice in the bad luck of another person.

Unless, of course, when it is my Christian duty to do so.

Like the people on this list:

Oh Lord, have mercy on me, that’s almost the exact list I made.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.

UPDATE:  IRONY IS NOT DEAD.  Well, as it turns out Matt Schlapp was actually able to guarantee the safety of at least one Republican.

Thanks to Deb T for the heads up.

  1. I’m thinking schlapp and his wifey should be on the list

  2. Grandma Ada says:

And don’t forget Ted Cruz who wants us to congratulate him for self quarantining in Houston after he also was shaking hands in Maryland, got on an airplane with other people, went through a Houston airport, and got to Houston in time for an early spring break. That’s just rich – for all of them!

    2
  3. Maybe WH bible salesman Pence will prey for them.

    3
  4. Jane & PKM says:

A short but otherwise worthy list. Cubic zirconium and Burlap were at the WH with Donnie,* but the dates may have ‘missed.’ WH visit was 2/27, CPAC 3/1, but the incubation period is ~2 weeks. Bitsy, muster your yachts and prepare for boarding.

wth gives with Kay James? She went to Hampton not Liberty or Trump U.

    4
  5. Buttermilk Sky says:

No Stephen Miller? Can we try it again?

    5
  6. slipstream says:

States reporting coronavirus infections, as reported by the CDC March 9:

    Arizona
    California
    Colorado
    Connecticut
    Florida
    Georgia
    Hawaii
    Illinois
    Indiana
    Iowa
    Kansas
    Kentucky
    Maryland
    Massachusetts
    Michigan
    Minnesota
    Missouri
    Nebraska
    Nevada
    New Hampshire
    New Jersey
    New York
    North Carolina
    Oklahoma
    Oregon
    Pennsylvania
    Rhode Island
    South Carolina
    Tennessee
    Texas
    Utah
    Vermont
    Virginia
    Washington
    Wisconsin

    and . . . Washington DC

    Winning. So very much winning.

    6
  7. Darlin. You is forgiven.

    7
  8. That list of names makes me think of Gilbert & Sullivan’s the Mikado.

    8
  9. good reference Mike

‘I’ve got him on the list, I’ve got him on the list and he never will be missed’ (forgive me if I’m a little off, It’s been many years since I’ve listened to it)

    9
  10. Old Fart says:

Let’s hope for a dose of humility, and more realistic expectations of government…

    10
  11. Juie Bosko says:

Why hasn’t the CPAC infectee been out
ed? Oh forgot, its a republican.

    11
  12. Well louie is being his consistent clueless self.
    Refuses to self isolate.
    Back to office.
Just out of curiousity how many members of Congress are in high risk groups?
Over 80, Underlying health issues etc?

    12
  13. Slipstream, waiting for it to get to Alaska is like sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop.

    13
  14. Over 80? With health problems? Does that include mental? I know of some that are approaching that stratospheric age but no 90 year olds. Course, a lot of those nonegerians like to keep quiet and just keep a back bench warm. Gone ar the days of Strom Thurmond and thank God for that!

    14
  15. Teh Gerg says:

I fear their mental and moral inadequacies much more.

    15
  16. I am getting more and more curious as to who the coronavirus carrier at cpac was.
consider it was said that this person did not enter main hall or any of the break out sessions.
Yet it seems to be a murderers row of wingnuts who appear to have gone to a private room to pay homage to whomever it was.
So who was it? Russian Ambassador/Putin personal rep.?
    Some disgraced fundie ( redundant)?
    David Duke?
who could it be who deserved to be holding court for nutjobs yet did not participaite in the conference except to accept the bending of the knee from these loony tunes?
    I am open to information/speculation.

    * perhaps the face behind qanon?

    16
  17. Elise Von Holten says:

Could Grover Norquist still be in the shadows of Republican BS land? Been a long time since that little piece of excrement has come to the surface…they used to genuflects at his altar quite faithfully.

    17
  18. Who was the CPAC disease vector? My money is on djtjr. We’ll know if he goes to ground and disappears for a while.

    18
  19. Teh Gerg says:

Our first local case, who began to get ill the last week or so of February, had flown to D.C. for a business trip, not politics. I’m betting that COVID-19 is already well throughout our already-diseased capitol. Considering that the first five days or so of the infection are non-symptomatic . . .

    19
  20. Thanks for making me laugh in such unfunny times.

    20
  21. thatotherjean says:

Didn’t Louie announce that he wasn’t going to “self-quarantine,” and that he was coming back to DC? He really doesn’t play well with others, does he? For the first time since I heard his name, I now wish that something DOES NOT happen to Louie. I hope he doesn’t get sick, for the sake of the people who have no choice but to be around him.

    21
  22. The Surly Professor says:

k@16: has anyone heard from/about Sheldon Anderson lately? In 2012 and 2016 his was the ring all the Repub hopefuls had to kiss.

    22
  23. The Surly Professor says:

Correcting my own glitch @22: Sheldon Adelson (as in “addled person”). And he is throwing a major fundraiser for Trump on 12 March. $100k to get in the door, $250k if you want to sit on a “round table discussion”. This is at Adelson’s Las Vegas house.

Still, who else can command the appearance of Trump and the other lunatics at CPAC? And who would disdain attending any of the pep rallies there?
