Poor Tucker Carlson, this whole Nancy Pelosi and women in congress thing has him in such despair.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday lamented about what his show’s chyron described as “men in decline.” During one segment, he claimed there was “more drug and alcohol abuse” and “higher incarceration rates” in areas where women earn more money than their male counterparts.
Carlson cited “facts” from an unnamed study claiming that women earning more money “causes a drop in marriage, a spike in out-of-wedlock births and all the familiar disasters that inevitably follow.”
It’s a damn disaster, y’all. Screw global warming, the real problem is women gaining equality.
Poor Tucker, the preppy white men are so discriminated against. It’s like their birthright doesn’t mean anything now.

4Women earning more money “causes” a drop in marriage, spike in out-of-wedlock births, and all the etc. disasters? I suggest you take another look to determine which comes first. Especially the more drug and alcohol abuse and the higher incarceration rates. If the boys are boozing and popping and shooting up and getting thrown in the slammer, then yes, the women are going to earn more money. And they’re not going to want to marry those fools.

10Tucks theory here is using his opinions as facts, then drawing some sort of conclusion about his opinions. Doesn’t really fly for a “scientific study.”
11The “studies” are referring to minorities. Take Oakland CA in the sixties and early seventies when affirmative action was beginning. Companies of a certain size were required to hire minorities but the minority men looked scary, like probably they were all members of the Black Panther Party. So the businesses hired the black women, which further emasculated the black men. Hence the alcohol, the drugs, the abuse, the crime, and on and on. I just don’t know why Tucker would fail to mention his sources.

Tucker’s big problem isn’t with women, it’s with him not being as popular as Rush or Hannity. I’d call it penis envy, but I doubt either one of them has one.

14One more reflection on how women are earning more money: 40 years ago my father managed a restaurant in a popular tourist area: It was customary for the male employees to bug off during hunting season, leaving the women to carry on.
15If women earn more than men in an area it generally means that jobs mostly held by men are disappearing (the mine is closed, the factories have left) while jobs mostly held by women (teaching, health care) continue. It is not surprising that an area like that would have problems like drug and alcohol abuse, but women’s earnings are not to blame.
