My Congressional District
Pete Olson isn’t running again because he’s a coward and knows he’ll get whipped so bad that his grandchildren will be born shaking.
So far there’s about 12 candidates running in the GOP primary for Olson’s seat, including our current sheriff.
Another entered today in CD22. You’d think that the Bush family would eventually run out of dim witted boys to run for office in Texas. But, nope.
The grandson of the late President George H.W. Bush, nonprofit executive Pierce Bush, will announce his candidacy for Congress on Monday morning, according to an email written by his father, Neil Bush.
There is a never ending supply of Bushes and they all believe they are entitled to public office.
Um, wasn’t daddy Neil in a bit of legal trouble some years back?

Daddy [SilveradoS&L, et al] Neil might be the sleaziest of all the HW spawn. He’s noted for numerous financial and ‘romantic’ escapades [similar sectors: somebody’s always gettin’ f’ed].

7Neil Bush, if I recall correctly, was the one who testified in a trial that while staying in Hong Kong, young women would just show up and sleep with him. According to Neil, he had no idea why they were doing such a nice thing for him! His son, Pierce, just proves that the Bush family is a reliable source of mediocre Republican political hacks. It’s a family tradition.

9Anyone arguing whether Dubya or Jeb is the dumber Bush forgot about Neil. Chances are boyo Pierce is as dumb and crooked as Neil. But dumb works in some Texas Districts; reference Louie Gohmert. About 12 candidate out lying and cheating each other for Pete’s seat. Spectacular! Food fight, circular firing squad, whatever. Bring it on.
Better yet bring on a Democratic challenger. Texas, you found one for Louie. Take Pete’s seat, too.
10I worked for a law firm that was hired by FSLIC to liquidate Silverado. Maybe Neil Bush thinks that we who were there are too old to remember the $1,000,000,000 that his misconduct, along with others, cost the taxpayers. They have waited almost 30 years but it will take another 300 years before that history is old enough not to matter.
11Didn’t matriarch, Barbara, pronounce that “There will be no more Bushes in politics.” It’s not nice to defy Mother Bush.
