King? Nope. More Like Emperor

November 26, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Don McGhan is appealing the decision of a federal judge that he has to testify.

The judge was pretty clear cut on the decision.

Getting right down to the basics that most Americans learn in school, the judge quoted Founding Fathers James Madison and Alexander Hamilton and French diplomat Alexis de Tocqueville to explain the nature of the presidency.

“Stated simply, the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of recorded American history is that Presidents are not kings,” Jackson wrote.

Well, see, that’s not a reason.  Trump does not think he’s a king. He thinks he’s a Bond villain. And that is the basis for their appeal.

Or, there might be another reason …

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson

Really, three reasons – (1) she has ta-tas, (2) she is black, (3) she was appointed by Barack Obama.

She also has a cum laude undergraduate degree from Harvard and a cum laude law degree from there, too. She was editor of the law review.

This case simply must be reviewed by the I Like Beer guy.

  1. It’ll be interesting to see what logic the Supremes use to set a rule that Republicans don’t need to obey subpoenas, but Democrats must comply. Perhaps set up Republican Privilege as a defense?

  2. If Trump was a Bond villain, for the sake of argument, the movie would run as long as it took for Bond to show up. And I would very much enjoy watching how Phoebe Waller-Bridge dealt with him in the script. It may not be pretty, but satisfying in a messy convoluted manner befitting a narcissistic fool.

And now he claims that he would love to have his staff testify.

Well, sure. That explains why he ordered them not to testify.

  4. It’s good to know that we have some intelligent judges who haven’t swallowed Trump’s Kool Aid, can think for themselves and render smart, informed legal judgments.
Would that some Senate Republicans had that ability to see the truth for what it is, but, alas, they have sold their souls to the Liar-in-Chief. May God have mercy on their souls.

  5. Judge Jackson for Supreme Court! If we start the band wagon now, we will be in better position once we have a Democrat int he White House. I would also like that Democrat to nominate Barack Obama as the next Supreme Justice of the united States. I enjoy watching all the air wheeze out of racists.

  6. Her opinion ran 120 pages and most of it was pure kick-ass. She quoted nearly all the Founding Fathers and had the Orange Moron dead to rights. It was glorious!

  7. Don’ understand why Don McGhan does not want to testify. Is Trump paying him?

One set of rules for the Toddler In Chief, another set for tax paying citizens. The TIC doesn’t want his tax returns made public because those facts will knock down his house of cards. And it’s already shaky.

“Documents show the president’s company reported different numbers – higher ones to lenders, lower ones to tax officials – for Trump’s signature building. Last month, ProPublica revealed a similar pattern in tow other Trump buildings.”
