Just In Case Anybody Missed It
I’m going to leave this stuck up here for a few days. Glen and I are raising money to send about a dozen college kids to Georgia from Texas starting December 26 and ending the day after election. We figure it’s going to cost about $1,000 a kid. Glen has contacts in the Georgia Democratic party and they know we’re coming. We have Covid-safe housing for the kids. If you can’t go yourself, be there in spirit and fortune by donating. We’re going to take it down after we hit $6,000 here. Glen is raising through two PACs he has. Start here. Thanks to all of you, we made our goal! Thank you to every single one of you!
Just kicked in a K. Hopefully a better outcome than most of my other spend this round.
1And $100 here. High hopes!
2I’m kicking in, too. Have already donated to FairFight.
3Looks like you’re over $5,000 now…Hope all this helps!
4I’ve sent what I can and I want to thank you, Glen and the kids for helping out in Georgia. Maybe we can return the favor some time.
5Great idea and good luck!
6Thought I did, but I don’t see a receipt in my files, so I’m doing it again just in case.
7I sent to Glen’s PAC. If I were forty years younger, I’d go myself. Sounds like fun, and the project of a lifetime.
8Made a small contribution. Had already donated to each of the two Democrats’ campaigns and intend to make donations in December, as well.
9Didn’t see this until this afternoon. Best of luck to everyone who goes.
10donated here and to Fair Fight as well as candidates. GOTV
11is the only path to victory.
I’ll see yas when you return, cheers!
12While well meaning, wouldn’t the odds of successfully persuading someone be higher if a fellow Georgian was talking to a voter? And wouldn’t money go further by hiring someone who already lived there rather than paying to transport, house, and feed people who travel to the state?
I sincerely appreciate the sentiment, but it seems to me that money would be far better spent having Georgians talk to Georgians.
