Finally

August 01, 2023 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Jack Smith indicted Trump on 4 charges.  The good news for Trump is that none are insurrection.  The bad news is that they are all serious and provable.  There are also six others (I hope I counted that right), mostly lawyers. John Eastman and Sidney Powell are surely two of them and probably Rudy.  I hope Rudy.

  1. It may very well be that Trump get’s so many indictments that he has to pay somebody to put them in alphabetical order!

  2. slipstream says:

Page 14 of the indictment (paragraph 25):

“it’s tough to own any of this when it’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.”

    So eloquent.

  3. Good thing Felonious T. Rump has his own jet. He should be able to appear at all his court dates, wherever they may be.

… and for people like slipstream and I who relish reading these documents, I found it in PDF form at

I’m gonna get a cold beer to pour while poring over this one.

  5. Kenneth Fair says:

From reading the indictment, I think #1 is Rudy Giuliani, #2 is John Eastman, #3 is Sidney Powell, #4 is Jeffrey Clark, and #5 is Kenneth Chesebro.

But who is #6? A “political consultant who helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of electors”? That might be Michael Roman, a Trump campaign member in charge of organizing the alternate-elector plan. But he apparently was cooperating with Smith’s office. My best guess for #6 is Boris Epshteyn, but that’s just a guess right now.

  6. Yeeehaa!
    LOCK HIM UP !!!
    No bail!
    Yank his passport[s]!

Onward to the rest of his scumsucking accomplices.

  7. Texas Expat in CA says:

Just finished speed-reading the indictment. It’s juicy as a ripe peach, and almost as enjoyable.

What’s stunning is the number of specific incidents in which the Crook & Co. are told by those who know that their allegations are a lie, and then they knowingly tell that same lie again. Over and over and over.

    Highly recommended reading!

  8. Ted, not Cruz says:

I did not see any reference to Mark “Flippy” Meadows.

  9. slipstream says:

I’m having trouble keeping track of all the Trump indictments.

I think this is the summary:

    Florida / Classified documents / 40 felonies

New York / Stormy Daniels / 34 felonies

    Federal / Election Fraud / 4 felonies

New York / civil suit / waiting for trial

    Georgia / waiting for indictment

That’s 78 felony indictment so far, and more expected.

slipstream’s lifetime total: 0 felony indictments.

Once again, Trump has outscored slipstream.

  10. Deserves at least one glass of bubbly.

While I sip, I will reflect with even more pride on having voted for Hillary (no indictments, no counts) and not trump (3 indictments so far and ca. 80 counts so far) in 2016.

I’m on the “this makes me ill” side that this series of indictments is a horrendous step that our democracy has been forced to take in defense of itself. And TFG is still running…

I’m with Old Fart…..will this nightmare never end.

  13. The Surly Professor says:

Good news, everybody! The judge assigned for the latest case is Tanya S. Chutkan in the DC district court. She was not appointed by Trump (and hence knows some law things), does not suffer fools at all (which includes the other Jan 6 nitwits), and has a background in white collar crimes.

Now we don’t have to rely on a Florida judge appointed by T, with a jury drawn from retired old Fox News addicts in Florida.

Hell no, bring on the “Fulton County DA says work is done in Trump probe!”

MSNBC has done an amazing job of covering and framing the facts!!! here’s just a tidbit …

  15. Old Fart @11, wrote: “And TFG is still running…”. With all those indictments and charges in process, and a stack more pending.

Hey y’all, on GMA this morning, they mentioned a latest poll that had Biden and Mango Manboobs TIED at 43% each!
Is this a fucked up country or what?

  16. Harry Eagar says:

There is some good background you will not find elsewhere at Opening Arguments podcast. The hosts, lawyers from Baltimore, think #6 is Boris Epstehyn, I am skeptical, since 6 is not identified as a lawyer.

How we greeted the news at my house:

Me to grandchildren: Who wants to stay up till dark so we can set off fireworks celebrating trump’s indictment?”

    Oldest grandkid: “What’s indictment>”

Me: “They are charging him with crimes so they can send him to jail.”

    OG: “Is he bad?”

    Me: “Very bad.”
