And there’s South Carolina.

They got a two-fer.  An ambulance BOGO.

Deputies say two people were hurt after an accidental shooting at the Palmetto State Armory in Greenville County.

According to the sheriff’s office, a man was taking apart a gun when it fired and struck him and someone he was with.

It looks like they’ll both live to hurt themselves again.

They say the two were given a safety briefing before the shooting and the gun belonged to the victim.

They also say the victim was shot in the left hand and his companion in the right upper leg.

Okay, the physics of that is gonna take some ‘splainin’.

This time it happened in Texas but only because it was our turn.

Because we always do things bigger in Texas, three people were filled with birdshot bad enough to be hospitalized.

The accidental discharge of a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with bird shot happened just before 9 a.m. Saturday, minutes before the show at the MPEC was set to open.

Police say it was a vendor, who show organizers say was a veteran at the gun shows and a Wichita Falls local.

The bird shot struck the hands, arms and neck areas of three MPEC employees working in the concessions area.

The victims weren’t even there to buy guns.  They were there to make a few extra dollars.

“This is the first I’ve head of it,” said Officer Timothy Johnson with Wichita Falls Police Department. “The first I’ve seen something like this happen at a gun show.”

He just hopes this doesn’t put a stop to the Gun and Knife shows all together, especially because he said this not only brings education to gun owners and potential buyers, but also because it has a great economic impact.

From the way they are talking, you’d think this was the first gun show accident since ducks started going barefoot.  Not true, dudes.  It’s a real common happening. Y’all need more gun education, not gun buying.

They never explained how this happened and Lord knows it did not interrupt commerce.

The gun show will also be open Sunday from 10 a.m- 5p.m.

I guess nobody got accidentally knived.

Well, well , well, it seems that Mr. Trump finds virtue in not paying taxes.  That makes him smart. A genius, in fact.

And just as importantly, his tax returns show what a great business man he is.

Yeah, that took all the business acumen of an undereducated field mouse.

Wanna know who thinks even the rich should pay their taxes?  These guys.  Warren Buffet and Bill Gates pay their taxes.  They also donate heavily to charity.  And they are decent human beings.

Trump’s response to all this?  Hillary was not faithful to Bill.

And as he continued to look in a mirror, he added …

The rhetoric for the rest of Trump’s address, in which he veered off from his teleprompter early and often, stayed at a fever pitch. He encouraged chants of “Lock her up!” from his supporters by saying that Clinton “should be in prison.”

In the midst of comparing his “great temperament,” to Clinton’s, Trump declared, “She could be crazy. She could actually be crazy.”

I have something to say to KelleyAnne Conway.  Woman, put on your big girl panties and get the hell away from that guy before someone gets hurt.  Face it, sweetie, you ain’t doing all that good a job.

So the damn United States Congress voted to override President Obama’s veto of the 911-bill that allows US citizens to sue Saudi Arabia over 911.

It was the first time they have overridden any of Obama’s vetoes.

Then they woke up this morning and realized what they did.  Brexit revisited.

U.S. lawmakers on Thursday expressed doubts about Sept. 11 legislation they forced on President Barack Obama, saying the new law allowing lawsuits against Saudi Arabia could be narrowed to ease concerns about its effect on Americans abroad.

… the White House argued it could have negative repercussions on U.S. citizens and companies who could be subject to suits over U.S. government actions.

It’s an election year and nobody wanted to be against 911 victims getting whatever they can from Saudi Arabia.

Congress claims they are going to “fit it,” read: gut it after the election.

It’s times like these that I realize that no matter how cynical I get, I can’t keep up with Congress.
