Asking For Help Again. It’s Free!

August 05, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

The Texas State Historical Association is sponsoring a virtual Race Across Texas.  It’s an online contest on Texas trivia.  There are weekly prizes.

Couple this with Glen Maxey and I raising money for the ballot by mail application program for Texas Democrats that you, yes you!, help get done every election year with your generous donations.

Glen wants to win this contest real bad because he fancies himself some kind of expert on Texas Trivia and would like a title to prove it.  The better part of Glen’s ego-quest is that we will auction-off every prize he wins and put that money directly into the ballot by mail program.

Here’s how you can help.  Glen gets 25 points for every person he can get to join the contest.  It’s free and you can unsubscribe after the contest is over.  You do NOT have to join the Texas State Historical Association for Glen to get the points, you only have to sign-up for the contest.

Plus, then Glen gets extra points every time you answer one of the trivia questions correctly.  (I’ll help with hints if you need them.)

Through Facebook, he’s already gotten 85 people to sign up.  I promised him at least 15 more.  Don’t make me go stand under a street light in a floozy dress to get more people to join.

Just click right here.

Be sure to click the small box beside the “Send These Credentials Via Email” before you click the big green START THE RACE bar.

Click Start the Race to get your email.

It’s a good way to RESIST without having to get out of your pajamas.

Thank you, guys.

Ken Starr, National Sumbitch

Yeah, Ken, because Whitewater was all about a blow job.

You slimy sumbitch, tell us about the rape investigation at Baylor.  Was that fishing?  You need to be in jail.

Fun With Guns: I Think They’re Jacking With Us Now Edition

There is a never ending list of men in Texas who shoot armadillos and have the bullet ricochet back and put out their eye or some damn thing.

Here’s one from the Huffington Post today.

It is the same exact story we covered in July of 2015.  And pretty much the same story in October of 2015.

Here ya go on July of 2016

I’m thinking that on a slow news day, the amazing armadillo gets rehashed.  If ya think about it, pretty much anything can happen at 3:00 am and neither you nor I would be there to dispute it.

Either that or there’s just way too many people running around with an itchy handgun at 3:00 am.

Thelma this it’s one kind of Russian Commie signal.  Like, if you see that story, it’s a spy message to the Russians that something is fixing to happen.  Something awful – especially the July 2016 one.

I dunno.  After all, Thelma was right about something once so it might happen again.

Thanks to Lynn for the heads up.

Local Milk People?

August 03, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Transcripts of the conversations Trump had with the Presidents of Australia and Mexico have come out of hiding and it appears that Trump lied to them, too.

You can read the transcripts online just about anywhere but here’s one thing that has me very confused.  In talking about taking in refugees from Australia, Trump says …

Y’all, look, I’m just a hairdresser from Texas so maybe there’s something I don’t know.  Who are the “local milk people.”  I’m pretty sure I don’t have any local milk people because you’d think that’s something they’d tell me.  You know, “Hey Juanita, meet your local milk people.”

Are they people who drink milk, sell milk, spill milk, milk cows, milk goats, make butter?  My milk comes from the H.E.B.  I don’t know how local that is.

Maybe if we gave the refugees some milk, they wouldn’t be “bad.”  I wonder if Trump ever thought about that.

These are confusing times, my friend.
