Okay, so come to find out, the NRA didn’t disclose the $250,000 it spent lobbying in Florida in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting.

The NRA paid a Florida lobbyist, Marion Hammer, to fight gun control and lobby the legislature after the massacre, but didn’t report it.

There were additional payments. NRA tax returns show that Hammer received $147,000 in 2014, $172,000 in 2015 and $206,000 in 2016. The total: $525,000. For each of those years, the NRA reported she worked an average of five hours per week. None of it was reported to state lobbyist regulators.

She works half a day a week and makes three figures?  I need that job, y’all, and if it wasn’t for the selling your soul part, I’d apply for it.

Somebody get some marshmallows and sticks because the NRA is gonna burn itself up.

Yeah, that just makes my day.

This is giving me a headache the size of a 1956 Buick.

Does Donald Trump have dirt on Lindsey Graham that causes Graham to act like a bubble off plumb OR did John McCain have dirt on Lindsey that caused him to act semi-sane?

Graham is head of the Senate Judiciary Committee and he is giving free legal advice to a subpoenaed witness before the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is also headed by a Republican.  That’s screwed up, y’all.  That’s nothing more than attempting to belittle the very institution and political party that Graham has spent hid life trying to build.

Graham told Donald Junior to plead the Fifth when he testifies.  “Then,” explained Graham, “it’s all over.”

Ya think? Honey, pleading the Fifth doesn’t make it all over any more than Barr’s lies about Mueller’s report makes it all over.

He’s head of the damn judiciary committee and he’s giving advice like that?

So Graham is saying that what this country needs right now is more cover-up.

Yeah, that’ll do the trick.

Okay, so remember that $20 million raised to build the wall?  You know, where people who love Trump donated their own money to build the ridiculous wall because we didn’t want to pay for something that doesn’t work.

Well, it appears we were right.  You cannot give Republicans money because they spend it on themselves.

Brian Kolfage is heading up the project and promised to have groundbreaking at the end of April.  So far, nothing. Nada. Nilch. Nope.

He ain’t the brightest light on the Christmas tree.  Explaining why they had selected a site to build their portion of the wall but haven’t had a groundbreaking, Kolfage said,“I wish I could name where it’s at, but we can’t name it because of the ACLU, these other liberal groups who want to sue us and impede our progress.”  Dude, we can impede your progress after you start and shut the whole thing down with one writ.

Rumor has it that he spent $1 million of the money on a yacht.  I’m thinking maybe his plan was to park it in the middle of the river to make it harder for people to swim around.

Happily, Kris Kobach and Steve Bannon are on his Board of Directors and I’m certain those two heros are keeping close watch on the books.

Okay, you get to be on the cutting edge of the NRA scandal that’s brewing.

The Wall Street Journal is having some big time fun with leaked documents they received about Wayne LaPierre’s spending habits.

Hey, don’t be picky – it’s pretty easy to spend $39K for clothes in one day.

Wayne LaPierre required the PR firm to pay nearly $14,000 to rent an apartment near the NRA’s headquarters for a summer intern named Megan Allen.

And NRA chatrooms are going crazy about it.

I dunno. Apparently those swan things don’t come cheap.

Trump told Politico that it would be “appropriate” for him to discuss opening an investigation of Joe Biden and his son Hunter with Attorney General Bill Barr.

I kid you not.

“Certainly it would be an appropriate thing to speak to him about, but I have not done that as of yet. … It could be a very big situation,” Trump said in a 15-minute telephone interview on Friday afternoon.

Barr also drew attention during his recent congressional testimony when he demurred on a question about whether anybody in the White House had ever suggested that he launch an investigation.

I completely understand that Bill Barr has never given Trump any reason whatsodamnever to believe that the Attorney General of the United States of America is not the president’s personal attorney, campaign manager, and in charge of dirty tricks.

But here’s the cool part – now that Trump told Politico, he doesn’t have to tell Barr. Barr can just read it and do his master’s bidding.

And now we know why Barr could not answer Kamala Harris.

Thelma thinks Barr is auditioning for a supreme court seat.
