The Wall Yacht

May 13, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, so remember that $20 million raised to build the wall?  You know, where people who love Trump donated their own money to build the ridiculous wall because we didn’t want to pay for something that doesn’t work.

Well, it appears we were right.  You cannot give Republicans money because they spend it on themselves.

Brian Kolfage is heading up the project and promised to have groundbreaking at the end of April.  So far, nothing. Nada. Nilch. Nope.

He ain’t the brightest light on the Christmas tree.  Explaining why they had selected a site to build their portion of the wall but haven’t had a groundbreaking, Kolfage said,“I wish I could name where it’s at, but we can’t name it because of the ACLU, these other liberal groups who want to sue us and impede our progress.”  Dude, we can impede your progress after you start and shut the whole thing down with one writ.

Rumor has it that he spent $1 million of the money on a yacht.  I’m thinking maybe his plan was to park it in the middle of the river to make it harder for people to swim around.

Happily, Kris Kobach and Steve Bannon are on his Board of Directors and I’m certain those two heros are keeping close watch on the books.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

In the 70’s, I recall Johnny Carson doing a monologue about someone who placed a notice(s) in publications telling people to send him money. Promising nothing in return.

They passed a law but could not convict him because of the wording of the notice. By then of course, he had collected a million. All things including dumbassery being equal, Its just as easy today.

  4. You have to give credit where credit is due.
If the guy did buy a yacht with the GoFundMe donations, he obviously had his escape planned out from the start. The only question is, does he sail to the Cayman Islands (or another tax dodging haven) for the rest of the money? I can’t wait until his benefactors see the wall he builds around his newly purchased expat compound.

The Daily Mail article cites some of the postings that got Kolfage thrown off Facebook. (My favorite: “Kaepernick Just Released His Own ‘Bill of Rights’ and is Forcing Everyone in America To Follow It!”) Kolfage is trying to distract his willing victims by whining about censorship, something he obviously learned from trump.

  6. Did you see the picture of the “yacht?” If he paid $1M for that thing then he is either as dumb as the people who sent him money or he just doesn’t care anymore.

  7. Megasoid— in the 50s in Detroit there was a guy with a lunch-time kids tv show named Soupy Sales. He got in trouble for suggesting to his viewers on air that they send him a dollar.

BillR @ 8 Remember it, never saw it. Here is one we never saw either because it never made it to TV.

    Hardly Captain Kangaroo.

Soupy Sales blooper isn’t really a blooper. Although the normal straight on door shot made it to air, the shot of the stripper did not. The crew play a practical joke on Soupy. I think given the circumstances he handled it pretty well!

BarrR I used to run home from elementary school (same one Jack Paar attended in Detroit) at noon to watch Soupy Sales tho I don’t recall about the dollar deal. Good memories for me.

  10. It’s easy for Kolfage to ”update” donors privately. He has their email addresses and could send each one an ”update” that way. Something is stinking to high heaven.

It infuriates me that he uses his disability to scam people. 99 % of the disabled vets I associate with are honorable. This dirtbag is like Greg Abbott, his disability is a moral one.

    BillR, megasoid, van heldort,
Soupy was a character, I watched sometimes, he went into national syndication/reruns and guest appeared elsewhere too [he actually guest-hosted the Tonight show between Parr and Carson, among many others].

Soupy costars in one of the funniest programs I’ve ever seen, on the usually serious ’60’s series “Route 66” [the 5th to last episode 112 of the series, in Feb 1964; Route 66 used to air on MeTV but the idiots stopped it].
The episode is “This Is Going to Hurt Me More Than It Hurts You”, filmed in St. Augustine, FL. It’s probably on utube [which I don’t do due to lousy rural IP service]. It features a lot of great dialogue, and a huge pie fight [of course] at a very upscale place.

Meanwhile, in other financial/economic news, how about that stock market? DJ down 617 today…
Woohoo, Mr. Tariff Man may have set off a doozy. Mr. T, in a little more than 2 years, has had 12 of the 20 last biggest stock market sell-offs in history [he and his crime family/org wouldn’t be short-selling, would they?].
    .
China [financially in better shape than the US] may retaliate to Tariff Man’s genius $200Billion tariff moves with a $325Billion tariff raise on their side.
-And- they may plan to jack around with the $1.3 Trillion in US Treasuries [much of the/our National Debt] that they hold [a very large % of both foreign holdings and total].
Doing that, they could tank the US dollar and torpedo the whole US economy in a few weeks.
Mr. Tariff Man Trump and Larry Kudlow: master economic geniuses [ Kudlow has been around a long time, used to often be on Rukyser’s ‘Wall Street Week’ PBS TV program, was always 100% wrong]. Now playing Russian Roulette with the whole effen US economy [except the pistols’ cylinder has 5/6 chambers loaded, instead of the usual 1/6].
And our dumbass ‘Murikan farmers, getting slaughtered by China’s not buying US commodities, continue to rabidly support SOBOTUS/MrT [while he dangles a $20Billion bribe in front of them– of our taxpayer money].

    14
  14. Sandridge says:

    BTW, speaking of numbers–
a poll finds that a 56% majority of ‘Murikans said NO when asked if American schools should teach Arabic Numerals as part of the curriculum. You know, 0123456789…
    WTF- that is all…
