I’ll start it off with this one …

I just got a call from our 2008 Obama National Delegate, Chelsie, who voted first thing this morning.  They told her that she wasn’t in the system.  Hell’s bells she ain’t.  After much ado and some threats of butt bustin’, they finally found her.

At one point they kindly informed her that she was “lost in the system.”

“I’m not lost,” Chelsie said.  “I’m standing right here in front of you with a valid Texas driver’s license.  You can’t be much more found than that.  I can also show you my valid Fort Bend County Deputy Voter Registrar badge because that’s not lost either. ”

Luckily, there were Justice Department observers at her poll.  They interviewed her after she was allowed to vote.

Yes, my county is like some damn third world country.  We have to have federal election observers because the herd of old white men who run my county are so full of crap that they all have brown eyes.

As if Nate Silver’s 91% isn’t enough, there’s some other great prognostication going on.

Using maracas, coca leaves and a hallucinogenic brew, shamans in Peru got down to business Monday using pre-Columbian traditional ceremonies to pick a winner in the US presidential race.

“The apus (gods of the hills in indigenous mythology) tell us (Barack) Obama will be reelected,” predicted Juan Osco, known as the Shaman of the Andes on San Cristobal hill overlooking Lima.

Hell, it beats Fox and Friends.

Plus, the shamans are better looking.

Hell, I’d pick that guy over Steve Doocy any day of the week.

I finished my duty on the ballot board today.  So, tonight I’ll take some pictures of Bubba and my election eve tradition – putting out signs at the polls.

I’ll decide tomorrow what we’re going to do about election night at beauty salon.  If you guys want to keep it open, I’ll be glad to.  I thought I’d just post states as they are called and let you guys comment.  We’re having over some friends for cheap wine and expensive barbeque.
