Booed
Donald Trump went to the World Series last night. He was not invited at any time to throw out the first pitch or to sit in the owner’s box. And he wore a suit. Who wears a suit to a baseball game. Who does that?
His entry into the stadium was not announced. They waited until about the third inning, when they traditionally show the military and veterans in attendance, to show him on the big screen sitting in the stadium.
He was booed. Loudly. The boos were followed by chants of “Lock him up.” Two or three large banners – one directly behind home plate – were unfurled in the crowd that said “Veterans For Impeachment.”
All over the internet machine today, there are pictures and movies of Trump waving broadly to the crowd until he realizes he’s not being cheered, but booed. I will not take away your opportunity to find those for yourself because exploring is half the fun. Google Trump booed. And enjoy yourself.
Saw this on Twitter and thought you might appreciate it:
Tickets to the World Series:
$500.
Parking: $30.
Hot dog and soft drink: $20.
Hearing THE WHOLE STADIUM booing Donald Trump:
Priceless!

2“Restorative” –
“After years of horrifying footage of people wildly cheering Trump’s deranged rambling at his rallies, it’s reassuring—restorative, even!—to know that the rest of the country hasn’t forgotten how to greet tyrants.”

Nothing screams “loser idiot” like wearing a coat and tie to a baseball game.
4Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself: “And he wore a suit. Who wears a suit to a baseball game. Who does that?”
Answer to a rhetorical question: IQ4.5, Mitt Romney and probably another bunch of Republicons we don’t even want to think about. In defense of Mitt, he has been seen in jeans; stick to the suit & tie, Mittens. Defining Republicons: Mitt strapped the family dog Shamus to the roof of the car. Donnie doesn’t even have a dog.
Thinking of better days, President Obama with Bo. https://i1.wp.com/presidentialpetmuseum.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/bo-obama-limousine.jpg That is a man with his dog and a President!
Congrats to Ms. JJ and her ‘Stros for the victory last night and a 3-2 edge in the series.
5Best highlight of the mlb season. To see the Donald, Melanoma and Matt Gaetz (Donnie’s new best bud) with their phony shit eating grins waving then all of a sudden looking like they’d seen a real Halloween ghost was classic. I wish the mainstream media would play and replay all week.
6Even though the Nats beat my Dodgers, I am now a fan of Nat
Fans!
Trump had earlier said that he wouldn’t throw out the first pitch because the body armor he’d have to wear would make him “look too heavy”. Dude you ARE too heavy.
7They asked humanitarian chef Jose Andres to throw out the first pitch. Restores my faith in Americans.
8It must be brutal stepping outside the bubble you got used to for over 3 years.
There isn’t anything wrong with wearing a suit to a baseball game, though. At least in a VIP box.
I would have liked to see this in one of the midwest states that Trump carried but now that it has happened here you can be damn sure he isn’t attending any other unscripted events.
9Many people are saying that they were perfect boos. The best boos ever!
10It looked like a bunch of sour white grapes in the box. Not one conscience in the whole group.
11@Ralph Wiggam: perfect!
Strange, though. I watched togame (on Fox!) and never saw or heard any of that. What’s up with that? Did it happen while I had the add muted?
They are careful in each game, however, to spotlight any Fox News talking heads who happen to be in the stadium. Because people really need to know about that.
12Great evening.
131. Cheers for Chef Andres, as he threw the first pitch.
2. Appropriate greetings for trump and entourage.
3. And the Astros did pretty good, too.
This IS A REVOLUTION!!
We NEED the CIA,Amazon and Hollywood to save us from Trump!!
RESIST!!
14If trump were met with more boos at public events perhaps it would force him into reality. His rallies, his friends at Fox News and the a$$h*le GOP politicians are not reality. If he realizes what a failure he is maybe he take his ball and go home.
15@Ex Tex: No, it didn’t happen while you had the ads muted. I watched on Fox, too, and the fact that the crowd was booing and chanting when Trump’s image was on the screen was never apparent. Crowd noises were muted on Fox (aka State TV), and they also skipped showing Jose Andres throwing out the first pitch. Ticked me off, it did. Fortunately, the crowd booing and chanting, and the first pitch, are all over the internet.

17When the Nats lost, do you think Trump said, “I hate losers, they’re nothing” to make himself feel better?
18As if!
@ Ex Tex: Fox was in a commercial break when all this was going on. I didn’t find out about it until after the game when I looked at my FB feed. They never show the 1st pitch or the 4th inning Presidents’ Race, either. A pox on Fox!
19has anyone found shots of the reactions of Donnie’s companions? wondering if Matt, et al are realizing their mistake?
20World Series
Washington D.C.
United States of America
Do you think Trump is starting to wonder if his home field advantage is slipping away? It’s the difference between a real reelection crowd, and his made for reality TV reelection rallies.
21Is there anyone who didn’t think this would happen? This is DC, not red Podunkville.
22Hooray for the veterans. Did they bring the banners hoping he’d show up?
Connie Mack used to wear a suit in the dugout while managing the Philadelphia Athletics, but that was considered odd even a century ago.
23Hmmm . . . the Department of “Justice” is appealing the court order to turn over the Mueller investigation documents?
I think Snoopy has their number:

24Entertaining as him getting boo’ed hardly compensates for the fear of watching him get cheered by the chicago legalized murderers in blue.
25They, like the military, are given a gun, and other forms of deadly force, legal cover for using deadly force and show support for an individual that is lawless and has promoted the idea of that they can engage in unrestricted legalized murder then wonder why they are alienaited from their communities.
How dare anyone try to hold them responsible?
Just as our baby merc’s dishonoring the flag and uniform by whining about people shooting back at them when they invade and despoil others country’s so it is with our blue clad gang bangers who claim immunity for murder, rape and theft.
I don’t care how experienced, or not, an individual is if they are given a weapon and a limited license to use them they have to know the rules. failure to abide by them is unexcusable. Just obeying orders, or fear, or plain blood lust are no excuse.
Whether they are fresh out of police acedemy or basic they break the law and a ton of legal bricks should descend upon them and meciless sentencing.
Rationalizeing murder by claiming the murderer is to young or to unexperienced to know better is bogus. If that is the case they should never be given a weapon. They accept the weapon they accept the law and limitations that should go with them.
The idea that murderers in, any, uniform deserve “understanding” and mercy while their victims have been buried or are in the hospital is nothing more then lawless tripe from those who identify with the criminals more then with the victims.
Be it Geneva rules or criminal law when those who are agents of the a government violate them their is no exciuse for ignorance.
If they are so much of a coward that they are so fearful that they feel the need to shoot down innocents or prisoners or mentally challenged because of their cowardice they should be cashiered. indicted prosecuted and jailed sith all possible dispatch.
I live here, just outside the beltway; for the most part people in DC, Northern Maryland and Northern Virginia hate him. Sad for the Nats, the the crowd hit a homer.
26@ Linda Phipps: I live halfway between DC and Baltimore, and grew up in Northern Virginia. There is no love lost between Donald Trump and the citizens of any of those places. After the crowd at the ballpark, I doubt that Trump will venture out of his bubble of admirers again. His universe and the real world intersected there, and Trump wasn’t expecting the results. He knows better, now.
