And I Like It That Way!

Just a little twist for today.

He wanted to say “THE MOST rat and rodent infested place every in the history of rats and rodents.” But he couldn’t because dammit he wasn’t able to take away the funding.

And, by the way, I found out this morning that DeeCee has more rats than Baltimore.  I wonder if they counted the ones wearing suits and neckties.

  1. Some wear dresses, like Susan Collins.

We won’t be hearing much about “rat and rodent infested” (he knows rats are rodents, right?) Baltimore, as trump frantically denies his Doral resort is full of bedbugs. Apparently the guest who sued after waking up covered in blood was a Radical Left Democrat who brought his own insects.

I sort of like the idea of Boris Johnson sleeping in a buggy bed, but it looks like he won’t be in office next year, as he seems to have confused himself with Oliver Cromwell.

When Republicon women visit their doctor for a “dust & cleaning,” it’s not a euphemism for most of them. It’s been said that more than one doctor was bitten by bats flying out of the patient.

Meanwhile IQ4.5 is descending into 2/3 conjugation. Obviously he meant: “rats, rodents, RNC.”

  4. Q: What do you call a rat wearing a $600 suit?

    A: A Republican senator.

  5. Sandridge says:

    Papa @4, Those SOB’s wouldn’t look at a uber-cheap $600 suit, minimum $3600 suits for them.
[When’s the last time you bought one? A few years ago my new one was listed at $2400+, paid half that, still a bunch of dinero. :[ ]

OT: If y’all or friends/family live in Florida: Hurricane Dorian could be destroying the place by Sunday! [yes, now a Cat 1 ‘cane just east of Puerto Rico, and rapidly intensifying] —
The NHC and we weathernerds are beginning to crap our britches:

Some of the most trusted storm forecast models are progging Dorian to be at least a CAT 4 [JFC!] hurricane landfalling around Palm Beach, FL!
Then slashing clear across Florida and entering the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa-St. Pete as a ‘only a weakened’ Cat 1 or 2 storm.
Once in the Gulf it will restrengthen to a Cat 3 or 4 +and head for anywhere from the FL Panhandle to NOLA to Texas!
THIS IS SERIOUS CHIT! It could be “the big one”.

Those possibly affected only have three-3 days to shape up some emergency plans.
    .
On the plus side, if the Trump Doral and Mar-A-Pendejo are near ground zero landfall, those bedbugs and rodents are all gonna diiieeee!

  6. Sandridge @ 5,

Please pardon me for being just a humble widow of many years, who hasn’t been inside a men’s haberdashery for the same number of years. But I’m sure that even in a more expensive suit it won’t change the fact that they are still rats.

Well, well, I think Mr. Dorian is going to stop in at the Mar-A-Pendejo. Thoughts and prayers only.

    6
  7. Sandridge, you have me looking for your comments. Loved the Boca Chica links.

    7
  8. Buttermilk Sky, maybe he means other rodents, too. Maybe there is a squirrel, chipmunk, groundhog, beaver and gopher invasion. That would be awesome.

    8
  9. Better those than bedbugs

  10. Sandridge says:

    Papa and y’all,
Florida has just issued a statewide “State of Emergency” for soon-to-be very major Hurricane Dorian, which is ~4 days away.

Dorian’s track originally had it going between Puerto Rico and Hispaniola, then across the Bahamas. This land interaction was to keep it weaker and more towards S FL. Things have greatly changed.
Dorian passed east of PR, is taking a more N/NW’erly course for a couple days, before turning W/SW.
This track keeps Dorian in the open SE Atlantic, well east of the Bahamas, over extremely warm sea waters [SST’s], and low atmo shear conditions.
Massive intensification is expected, reaching Cat 3 or 4 while still east of the Bahamas, then turning west near the northern B’s, and growing to Cat 4 or 5 demonic status before slamming into Florida anywhere from Homestead-Miami to Daytona.
Dorian then weakens a bit as it tears across Florida, emerging into the Gulf near Tampa as a Cat 1 or 2.
Then it re-intensifies up to Cat 3-5[?] again and goes to the Panhandle, NOLA , or even Texas [like Houston].
Again, conditions are shaping up for the “Perfect Storm”!
    .

A big plus would be if ‘You-know-who’ insists on spending his Labor Day holiday at Doral and Mar-A-Pendejo, which may be ‘cane-ground-zero for Dorian… blowhard buddies as it were.

I’d kind of like it to continue on the NE course and flood NYC again; it was fun watching the subways become rivers.

Sigh; we are living in interesting Climes.

  12. Sandridge says:

    Holy Dorian!
Some reliable weather models are even showing Hurricane Dorian cutting across S Florida, entering the Gulf, and strengthening again.
Then he turns north, slams the Florida Panhandle, then turns EAST, slicing across N Florida-S Georgia. Dorian then re-emerges into the –Atlantic–, restrengthening yet again, turns north, and then rips into S/N Carolina or points north!

Dorian could be the Monster of all monsters.

    12
  13. Hey, remember the “Portrait of Dorain Gray”? That was also about a monster. Who the heck picks the names for these storms? Best of luck to anyone in the path of this storm!

Ed @7, Thanks, the Valley is a unique place, lots of stuff to see and do.
Assume you know the region, your cumbia youtube was good, gets one jumping, vamos a baile.
Spent most of my spare time around SPI, but got to Boca Chica once in a while. It’s incredible the changes now taking place there. Hell, in the whole Valley, used to be a string of small towns and villages. Now it’s getting like Houston or something. :[
    .

That first Boca Chica youtube was filmed years ago [2015?], before the SpaceX construction. Here’s one/two I found from earlier this year, compare them, you can reference from the ‘town’ and beach/GOM to note the three new SpaceX complexes.
Fantastic stuff, could not imagine it happening from fifty+ years ago, hanging out, 4W’ing and fishing, surfing and sailing the place back then.

Two good recent Boca Chica drone videos [supposedly drone flights around the complex have now been prohibited…]:

[even the Valley music scene is vastly different now, used to listen to ‘album rock’ KRIX, the best FM station anywhere [1980’s], now listen to KKCR and SiriusXM…]
