Chapter 52 in Trump’s memoirs: Trump reminds us of the time he hired Best People John Bolton in a tweet this morning.
“For a guy who couldn’t get approved for the Ambassador to the U.N. years ago, couldn’t get approved for anything since, ‘begged’ me for a non Senate approved job, which I gave him despite many saying ‘Don’t do it, sir,’ takes the job, mistakenly says ‘Libyan Model’ on T.V., and many more mistakes of judgement, gets fired because frankly, if I listened to him, we would be in World War Six by now, and goes out and IMMEDIATELY writes a nasty & untrue book. All Classified National Security. Who would do this?”
And never forget that he knows “all the best words.”
Y’all, he tweeted about Bolton at midnight last night and then restarted at 6:28 this morning.
Republicans are to the point of admitting that Trump did it all but that it’s not impeachable. That gives me two thoughts: (1) what else are they hiding that they are afraid will come out with witnesses? and (2) if extorting for your personal political benefit the leader of a foreign country with money that belongs to the American people, has been approved by congress, and is desperately needed for that ally’s national defense is not impeachable, what is?

1Lindseed Grahamcracker’s musings about secret examinination of a transcript of Bolton’s book hit a brick wall when it was noted that the book will be public in book stores all over the country. Ergo, why the secrecy?
Also Manchin decided that he wants Hunter Biden to testify. Oh, look here, John Kelly, ex chief of staff ‘I believe John Bolton’: Former White House Chief of Staff says he finds Bolton’s assertions on Trump and Ukraine to be totally credible. Nobody’s singing Mr. Roger’s “Would you be my friend”. Instead, Cheeto’s Cabinet Goops are returning his short shrift in spades.
2For better or worse Bolton was part of our security team and diplomatic corps for over a year. You bet he knows things.
If I had to guess I think there is a lot he could say about Trump family ties to Russian mob interests and Putin. For some reason this never seems to come up even though everybody knows the basics of it: Trump is actually broke and is dependent on loans from Deutscebank that were funded by Russian kleptocrats.
And then of course there is that business with that 666 building in Manhattan. Hunter Biden got $50K/year in exchange for influence that never actuated. Trump family got more than a half billion for actual ongoing influence.
And let’s not get started on Turkey. Or Syria. Or … you get the idea.
Bolton and Pompeo both would have a lot to say. Bolton is pissed and outside the cult. Pompeo is still fully in.
So yeah they should be crapping their pants over this.
3I don’t, for a minute, believe that Trump actually wrote that tweet. I mean, c’mon, the sentences not only are coherent, the whole tweet hangs together as a coherent statement. No odd inconsistencies, no bragging about how great he is, no random attacks on the media, Hillary, or Democrats in general. Someone else must have written it.
4Bob Boland @4, eggs…..actly. There was logic in that there tweet far beyond the scope of this entire maladministration, not just IQ4.5. To whom do we attribute this rare moment? A hacker, perhaps or maybe George was holding Kellyanne hostage and made her type what he dictated.
Remember the anonymous author writing critiques from inside the Trump administration who dropped breadcrumbs pointing to their identity? Him/her again? By George, I think we’ve got it.

6I agree with all who said that Trump Tweet was ghostwritten. For me the proof is the phrase “mistakenly says ‘Libyan Model’ on T.V.”
The real Trump would wonder why you can’t talk about Libyan models on TV. He’d have to ask, was it some kind of Muslim burka thing?

‘Huge’: Bernie Sanders Endorses Progressive Primary Challenger Jessica Cisneros
Edit: “We’re proud that presidential candidates are taking a close look at South Texas as we fight to turn Texas blue in November—and that they know we’re the only candidate in this race who will champion Democratic values in Washington.” Progressive Democrat Jessica Cisneros of south Texas notched another key endorsement on Wednesday as Sen. Bernie Sanders announced his support for the human rights attorney’s primary election bid to unseat Rep. Henry Cuellar.
Laredo-born Cisneros is seeking to defeat Cuellar in Texas’s 28th district. Cisneros has dubbed Cuellar, a 15-year incumbent, “Trump’s favorite Democrat.”
In a statement cheering the new endorsement, Cisneros tied her run to Sanders’s 2020 presidential campaign.

Sandridge, the 2020 eradication of the current crop of Republicons from IQ4.5 down through the Senate seems feasible. Maybe even expect the fall of a Mercer or two, a Koch and an Adelson. But it’s really all about SCROTUS and removing money from politics. Or, the next generation of Koch, et al purchases themselves another Congress. Roots, tentacles and petri dish of fascism and racism; a long term plan to stomp every last vestige until it no longer rises again.

Espiacially if biden is the unworthy and undeserving candinate willingness to give a blanket pardon to all for their crimes just as he did as part of obama fatal error in ’08.
Their agenda will march on over the poisoned environment sick children and bankrupt population.
