I cannot begin to imagine what rattles around in his empty head. In August of 2011 he said his book was going to have “heads exploding” all over DeeCee. That did not happen. Everyone said, “Crazzzzzy Uncle Dick is bloviating again.” He thought the “last throes of the insurgency” was just around the corner where “we will be welcomed as liberators,” so who cares what he thinks now.
When Cheney left office his approval rating was 13% and it hasn’t come up one damn point since then.
He’s a damn criminal at home and abroad. I am certain that President wears Cheney’s disapproval as a badge of honor.

And Cheney, being a former CEO and large shareholder in Halliburton, personally made millions off of the deal. It’s not like he needs the money. But like most of the 1%, he still always wants more! 25I make it a habit to tell myself that everyone in politics ultimately wants what is best for America deep down. They may be bat pooh crazy or morally/ethically corrupt, but they ultimate want what is best for America. I honestly believe Bush honestly thought he was doing what he thought was best. I can’t make that leap with Cheney. Cheney always wanted what was best for Cheney and unlike others (like say Cruz) he wasn’t delusional about thinking that what was best for Cheney was best for America. He wasn’t Vader, he was Palpatine. Unfortunately, his sithlike mind tricks are just strong enough to fool enough people into thinking his opinion is relevant on anything.
