Please meet Ben, my first grandchild, at 15 minutes old. 8 pounds, 13 ounces. My daughter-in-law is doing very well.
Here’s a movie. The voices you hear is my son and me. Please forgive me this personal indulgence.
I’ll be back to work soon as I recover from a giant case of the joys!
William is his first name. Ben is his middle name.

I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

I well remember holding my first grandchild in my arms and having a feeling of “all is forgiven”. I think absolution is what you get upon the first grandchild for not having killed your kids when they were insufferable teenagers!

4I am in tears over here! The baby is beautiful! Now, just one thing I suggest–your son needs to read to this baby every night without fail. My son started reading to my red headed (!!!!!) grandson in the hospital and has missed very few nights in almost 5 years.
