Pelosi Rips Up Trump’s Speech
In a silent show of resistance, Nancy Pelosi stood behind Trump who was basking in the glow of corrupt Republican adoration and tore his speech to shreds. It was brilliant. Have a look:

Thanks to Deb T for the heads up.
Special Warfare Rear Adm. Collin Green, commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, is resigning over disagreements with Trump.
It’s over the Eddie Gallagher atrocity.
Green graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1986 and completed the Navy SEAL Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) course two years later. He served in SEAL Teams 2, 3, and 5, in addition to senior roles for the NATO’s Special Operations Command and US Central Command.
We have now lost Navy Secretary Richard Spencer and Green, the top Navy SEAL officer, over disagreements with Trump over Gallagher. But, that’s okay because Trump’s nanny let him play with boats in the bathtub and Trump actually went snorkeling once so he’s good to run the Navy and the SEAL team. Unless his hair weighs him down.
Shadow. No, not the one caused by the sun, the one founded by former Hillary staffers Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis. Shadow is the company that developed the app that blew up last night making Iowa Dems look like idiots. Oh, and the IDP (Iowa Democratic Party) paid Shadow $63,000 for the privilege of being made to look like idiots. It gets better. Shadow was also paid over $42,000 by Mayor Pete’s campaign, $1200 by the Biden campaign, and $37,000 by Kirsten Gillibrand’s DOA campaign for software licenses and data. It gets even better. Shadow rushed this new app into deployment in TWO MONTHS. And even better, the IDP turned down Homeland Security who had offered to check it for security flaws.
The IDP blames a “coding” problem, but still maintains that the “data and paper trail” are intact. Are all state Dem parties run by morons?
Well, here’s a great headline to wake up to this morning.
Yeah, it appears that “a toxic work culture” exists at the host committee for the Democratic National Convention.
In interviews with the Journal Sentinel over the weekend, two experienced political hands who have worked with the host committee described it as having a toxic culture rife with power struggles, backbiting and mismanagement.
In other words, it’s become the White House.
They accused the top two officials, Gilbert and Alonso, of giving contracts to their friends in New Jersey, calling meetings and then failing to attend them and being more focused on accumulating power than promoting Milwaukee.
Yep, the White House.
So, if you were planning on being a delegate, I suspect you’ll have to take a lasso to rope the Russians and friends of the organizers out of your seat.
Get it together, Democrats, or get the hell outta the way. This ain’t a grab fest – it’s an election.
Last night in Saline Michigan a meeting of parents in the local high school was held to discuss the problem of rising racism in this small town. The town is mostly white, but also is populated by immigrants from Latin America and south Asia. Racism against these children of immigrants including verbal and physical abuse. During the meeting, Adrian Iraola, who immigrated to Michigan in 1980 from Mexico, was telling his experience with his son who has been verbally abused by white students. In mid-sentence, Iraola was interrupted by a white guy sitting behind him saying, “Then why didn’t you stay in Mexico?” The crowd in the room responded as you can imagine, but the man seemed non-plussed, and acted as if his behavior was somehow OK.
The problem we have building in America is that the current resident of the WH has made this attitude somewhat acceptable, at least in conservative circles. This is the cancer in our society that has metastasized, threatening the entire body politic helped along by Trump. Here’s a video of the incident.
