Pelosi Rips Up Trump’s Speech

February 04, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Trump

In a silent show of resistance, Nancy Pelosi stood behind Trump who was basking in the glow of corrupt Republican adoration and tore his speech to shreds.  It was brilliant.  Have a look:

  1. There are some whinging douchecanoes all over social media complaining about “civility” and “classless.”

    Let ’em whinge.

  2. Ironic, it’s a woman who has the biggest balls that’s protesting Trump. Bravo Nancy!

  3. Papa @2:

    Correction, the biggest ovaries. /s

    3
  4. If Nancy had torn the speech into even smaller pieces, then scattered the scraps across her desk, the random placement if read out loud would approximate Trump’s delivery without a teleprompter.

  5. You’ve heard of Mean Girls?
    Meet the Queen of Meme.

    5
  6. I cannot tell you how much I love this lady! She’s the perfect foil for that idiot cretin.

    6
  7. Nuff said, Madam Speaker.

    7
  8. Well, it’s not like he wrote it or anything.
It would have even been better if she pulled out a shredder.

    8
  9. Just read that the impeached one gave that monster, Limbaugh,
the medal of freedom. That says it all. Two of a kind. God help us.

    9
  10. That’s my senior senator, Ron Wyden, rushing to escape the Cluster of Orangefuukiness, at the beginning of the video. I’m amazed he stayed until the end; Dems should have all walked out, a bit at a time until none were left but Pelosi.

Queen Nancy played this right. Wishing she’d had a lighter, both for the paper and to cleanse the air. Since not, I hope she’ll have the House she presides over fumigated to rid the place of the vermin that infected it in case any remain.

  11. Madam Speaker Pelosi communicates more eloquently with one small gesture than the Charlatan-in-Chief ever could in myriad bombastic bouts of craparrhea.

  12. James:
The whingers apparently think refusing a Pelosi handshake is classy, civil, and refreshingly presidential.
Not surprising. Most of them are probably products of our dirty socialist failing government schools.

    12
  13. I mean seriously.
    Failing government schools?
    Not failing public schools?
The language of propaganda is used in the people’s chamber. And the people see Betsy devos celebrating like her favorite son just won the superbowl

  14. Grandma Ada says:

I hope she washed her hands after touching it!

  15. That clip is going to live forever, just like the picture from the Cabinet meeting where she’s telling him off. (And to think that he himself ordered that photo released, thinking people would see “Crazy Nancy” — boy, did that ever backfire!)

Nancy knows just where to shove the blade in to get him in the gut. It’s fabulous.

Perfection! Only Speaker Pelosi could top her slow clap from last year. Definite giphy gold to haunt the Toddler-in-Thief* through his remaining days in office. His* days are numbered.

    16
  17. Rush Limbaugh? When you think this “administration” could not go lower…. For my money, Pence was the scariest person on stage last night. He has the look of a dangerous zombie, standing on cue and offering applause, along with that condescending smirk. Trump??? The previous administration was what? A disaster? A train wreck? What a narcissistic fool! And I truly fear we could have four more years of this, only worse! Never in my wildest dreams could I have believed we would be in this position – and my memories go back to Eisenhower. There are way too many idiots in the US. Idiocracy anyone??

    17
  18. Never mess with a grandmother! Never! But I mean never! They just don’t take crap of any kind.

    18
  19. @Papa, @James: How about we stop using reproductive organs as a metaphor for courage?

    19
  20. Steve from Beaverton says:

He’s nauseating. If it were me standing behind during his speech, I would have vomited. I would not have blamed her had she torn them up, barfed on them and handed em to Pence. He’s almost as nauseating.

    20
  21. I don’t know about brilliant, but it sure was beautiful!

    21
  22. Yes! Much more convincing then sending a sternly worded letter.

    22
  23. Kate Dungan says:

What really bothered me about the Presidential Medal for Limbaugh, was that one of the Tuskegee airmen was there in the audience as well. Now, that man was a true hero.

    23
  24. i would love to see the next Dem Prez award the medal of honor to Adam Schiff. even tho frump has dropped that honor into the toilet with several of his choices for the award.

    24
  25. Even if Cheeto Benito’s SOTU had been printed on soft two-ply quilted paper it was the right thing for her to do.

    25
  26. Buttermilk Sky says:

Wouldn’t it be great if previous recipients sent back their Medals of Freedom? Perhaps with a note suggesting where to put it?

    26
  27. @dbtexas #17:

In my opinion the scariest person/final boss is McTurtle. His machinations set up, installed, and are perpetuating this scat show. From blocking a bipartisan recognition of Russia interfering and supporting on behalf of Cheatolini, to the negation of removal of an acknowledged guilty BLOATUS. We must recognize the “evil genius” in order to solve the problems…

    27
  28. So looking forward to 11/20……get them all out of there……pence is really scary and not a bit better than trump….but I do think he has a higher IQ than room temp trump. But pence will drag all the fake Christians with him…..goodness, none of this sounds very hopeful.

I had some doubts about Nancy Pelosi when she took so long to get to the point of impeaching Trump, then rushed to get it all done in what seemed to me to be an unseemly hurry. But I have come to admire her for getting every last drop of anxiety-inducing suspense and every bit of available evidence out of the impeachment hearings. They were followed by a precise, careful, and complete rehearsal of the available evidence, and a clear placement of blame on the Senators and the president who refused to allow for a fuller examination of the evidence by invoking highly dubious claims of “privilege” of one sort or another during that sham Senate “trial”.

Speaker Pelosi has done a masterful job in the face of constant and total obstruction by the White House, and I admire her no end for it. I loved her gesture of tearing up Trump’s State of the Union speech, treating it like the tissue of lies and exaggerations that it was. Go, Nancy, and thank you!

Nancy obviously prefers non-fiction and gave Trump’s speech the attention it was due.

If you thought Rush was a disgrace, wait until you see Trump start handing out honors to his kids.

  31. Deb Fischer of Nebraska was quoted in my local media today as shedding tears over the fact that the transcript she tore up contained the ‘names of heroes who died for our country’ (!) I believe she honestly thinks that. Incredible.
