And The Stoopid Doesn’t End In Iowa
Well, here’s a great headline to wake up to this morning.
Yeah, it appears that “a toxic work culture” exists at the host committee for the Democratic National Convention.
In interviews with the Journal Sentinel over the weekend, two experienced political hands who have worked with the host committee described it as having a toxic culture rife with power struggles, backbiting and mismanagement.
In other words, it’s become the White House.
They accused the top two officials, Gilbert and Alonso, of giving contracts to their friends in New Jersey, calling meetings and then failing to attend them and being more focused on accumulating power than promoting Milwaukee.
Yep, the White House.
So, if you were planning on being a delegate, I suspect you’ll have to take a lasso to rope the Russians and friends of the organizers out of your seat.
Get it together, Democrats, or get the hell outta the way. This ain’t a grab fest – it’s an election.
Aren’t you glad we went to Charlotte for our National Convention experience of a lifetime??? Good grief!

5As I understand it the “Host Committee” is a creature of Wisconsin political machines and not the DNC.
6Would anyone put it above the thuglicans to “seed” the host committee with true beleivers who consider their “real” job to be to use the Host committee to sabotauge the D’s convention and scrape as much data as possible to give to thuglican paymasters?
Sarah O@5: agreed, we see MSM picking chicken bones out of an egg when it’s Democrats, but ignoring toxic waste in the municple water system for the Republicans.
Let’s not omit that the cruelty, incompetence, and corruption by the Trump (crime) family is being paid for by taxpayers, and is part of the government that allegedly is ours. Anything yet that matches writing a check for the inaguration, and getting an ambassador’s appointment to a nation vital to US interests? [ans: nope].
