I don’t know if any of you are interested in or follow tennis, but there is a serious changing of the guard happening right now.  I personally started playing tennis over 50 years ago and still play today.  I follow professional tennis closely and love the grand slam events.  This year is a seismic shift in the sport with both young women and men rising  and challenging the pillars of the sport.  The new guard in women’s tennis burst onto the scene last year when 20 year old Naomi Osaka defeated Serena Williams last year for the US Open championship.  It continued this year when 15 year old Coco Gauff defeated Venus Williams in the first round of Wimbledon, reaching the third round before she was defeated by eventual tournament champion, Simona Halep.

Tonight, Coco and Naomi met in the third round of the US Open in NY, and Naomi won decisively in straight sets to move on to the round of 16; while important, that was not as significant as what happened after the match was over.  I let you see it for yourself first:

What we are seeing is a changing of the guard in tennis, and it seems it is in good hands.  This new generation is setting an example for all, and this old tennis player loves it.

Yesterday, Trump tweeted out a photograph of an Iranian launchpad after an explosion of a rocket occurred there.  Civilian satellites had taken photos after the incident but they were fuzzy, difficult to make out detail.  Trump’s photo was highly detailed with notes on it showing buildings and vehicles and was clearly taken by one of unknown US intelligence satellites orbiting earth.  A US intelligence official confirmed late yesterday that indeed the photo is from US intelligence.  Here’s the tweet:

So, let’s be clear about what just happened – the President of the United States, who had just received an intelligence briefing using photos from a classified US spy satellite took a photograph of that classified photo and tweeted it out to 62 million followers for the sole purpose of trolling Iran.

Can you imagine the fire storm over at Fox Noise had Obama done anything nearly as stupid?  At what point does the CIA and NSA stop giving Trump classified briefings?  At what point do they take away the nuclear codes? At what point does Mitch McConnell grow a spine and stop this guy?  When is enough enough?

Never?

Every weird and great news story starts with “Florida man …”

They are warning residents of Florida not to fire bullets into the hurricane because they will come back and … you know … kill your stooped butt.
