You know how we were promised that the Veteran’s Affairs was going to clean up their act?

So you can now remember how that didn’t happen because we have a partisan hack heading the VA again?

Pretty soon we’re going to need a Secretary in Charge of Firing the VA Secretary.

Look, the Disneyland quote was one of the least offensive things this guy has said.

The new matrix for success at the VA is that patients are given a survey saying how they liked the service.  Of damn course veterans who get seen are happy.  They get health care.  Veterans who are dying while waiting to be seen don’t get a damn survey.  Holy crap, what is wrong with you people?  I’m not smart and even I figured that out.

Putting a pretty face and nice comments on an agency that is treating our veterans like scum is deplorable.  President Barack Obama should not fire Secretary McDonald.  Instead, he should stroll over to the VA office and kick the sumbitch in the crotch and THEN fire him.

Mr. President, I don’t care if you put a Republican in the job, just so long he’s competent. This is a a horror.

Fate has no love for those who pursued the impeachment of Bill Clinton.Newt Gingrich, who led the charge against Clinton, lost the speakership in 1998 over his own extra-marital dalliances, while his successor Dennis Hastert, who shepherded the impeachment in the wake of Gingrich’s disgrace, has confessed to sexually abusing boys while working as a high school wrestling coach in the 1970s. Ken Starr, the special prosecutor who authored the famous report that graphically detailed Clinton’s sexual misconduct, is now facing the same sort of fall from grace that overtook Gingrich and Hastert.

They forgot about Bob Livingston and Hot Tub Tom DeLay.

The totally whacky lady who was convinced that Obama was a gay prostitute lost her bid for the State Board of Education with a 60/40 vote total.  Yeah, even East Texas gets one right every now and then.

DALLAS — Mary Lou Bruner, who made national headlines for Facebook posts in which she called President Obama a male prostitute, lost a Republican runoff election Tuesday for a spot on the State Board of Education.

Bruner made the posts last summer and fall in which she wrote, among other things, that Obama worked a male prostitute in his 20s to pay for a drug habit and that Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan looked like a terrorist when he had a beard.

Yeah, even East Texas gets one right every now and then, but mostly for the wrong reasons.

It wasn’t the Obama statements that got her in trouble.  What got her in trouble was this:

Earlier this month Bruner lost an endorsement from Grassroots America, We The People — a prominent tea party group — after she was criticized for citing incorrect information in a speech to school superintendents in East Texas.

According to video of Bruner’s speech to that group, she said, “We are approaching 50% of our student population in the special education programs.”

Yeah, you can say that Obama is a male prostitute but you can’t cast aspersions  asparagus on our kids.

I don’t think anything has made me smirk any more than this news.

Ken Starr, of Clinton impeachment fame, is being made the fall guy for the criminal acts of Baylor University’s football team.  Whoa, rarely do you get to see Queen Karma boink someone on the head with her wand while the whole damn country is watching.

Starr was fired this morning by the Board of Regents as Baylor’s president.

The three dozen members of the Baylor regents board are blaming Starr – not football coach Art Briles – for failed leadership during the ongoing scandal over how the school handled reports of rape and assault made against five BU football players – two of whom (Tevin Elliott and Sam Ukwuachu) were convicted of raping Baylor co-eds, sources close to the situation told HornsDigest.com.

Making a long story short.  Baylor hired a new football coach, Art Briles, who was amazing at winning football games but he did it with players who raped coeds.

Baylor won so many games that the university built a new $300 million football stadium.  So, you can’t fire the football coach because you’d have a $300 million empty stadium.

They fired Ken Starr instead, which makes my heart happy.  Boy Howdy, he had it comin’.

By the way, last week it appears that Starr was trying to apologize for what he did to Clinton.  Too little, too late, Ken.

I gotta tell you something.  Republicans are smoking way too much weed.  I have proof.

Newt Gingrich is calling Mitt Romney incompetent.  Yeah.

Newt says that Romney’s attempt to derail Trump was “pathetic” and “not particularly effective.”

“It’s pathetic… I don’t know what happened to Mitt, but it is weird; it is bizarre,” Mr. Gingrich said in an interview with reporters and editors of The Wall Street Journal, commenting on the 2012 presidential nominee’s attacks on Mr. Trump. “Having a guy like that go berserk in public makes you wonder what his problems are.”

As I recall, Gingrich was one of the original candidates in 2012 and was also the first or second to drop out.  That was pathetic – joyful for me – but pathetic nonetheless.

Gingrich wants to be Trump’s vice presidential candidate.  That means they will have 7 wives between them, which is kinda amazing since they are running in the Jesus First political party.

Admit it, you’re enjoying watching these grown men line up to kiss The Donald’s butt.
