Yes, Lord, But I Did Call Out Jesus and God While I Was Committing Adultery So There’s That

Todd Courser, who is the Michigan Republican sparking with another female lawmaker and then trying to spread homosexual rumors about himself to cover it up, has a new game plan.

Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 8.59.03 AMTodd is a rightwing, family values Republican so when he got caught in a ton of hypocrisy, he took to The Facebook to bare his soul.  And his buckets of crazy.

He calls upon the Scripture to lecture us that he’s the victim here and we should all feel sorry for him.  If you’re not on Facebook, I made a PDF of this.  However, you will miss all the funny comments on Facebook because there’s a thousand of them and that’s like a whole bunch of trouble on my part to covert to PDF.  So get a damn fake Facebook account just so you can go look at the funny stuff.

Just a Little Side Bet

August 16, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen and I have a little side bet going.

He found what appears to be a sham SuperPAC called No Sharia Law USA

But, it’s not a sham.  A scam maybe, but it’s real.

Agreed, their website isn’t much to write home about.

But their Twitter is all going strong.  Okay, maybe not strong but they certainly know how to retweet.  And they occasionally have winks of wisdom like this —

I know I’m holding my breath because I read it on Twitter.

And then they offer original artistic contributions —

And promises to keep!  –

That seems kinda skimpy on the “interview” part —

And profound stuff —

Okay, here’s my bet.  I bet this guy raises at least $10,000 before the end of the year and spends it all on himself.

There Ya Go

Donald Trump went on Meet the Press.  I know it’s necessary to dumb things down when talking to Chuck Todd, but … really?

Chuck Todd: “Who do you talk to for military advice right now?”

Donald Trump: “Well, I watch the shows. I mean, I really see a lot of great– you know, when you watch your show and all of the other shows and you have the generals and … you have certain people that you like.”

Sgt. Bilko?  Gomer Pyle?  Hogan’s Heroes?  McHale’s Navy?

Crusing with Cruz

August 15, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Maybe it was the glasses.

Rick Perry is losing donors faster than double geared lightning.  And guess who is picking them up?

The Cruz guy.

According to an analysis published by the National Journal on Friday, Cruz has raised more than $895,000 this year from people who supported Perry’s 2012 presidential campaign. Perry has raised less than half that amount, $376,000, from his former supporters.

See, men who wear glasses … seldom get money from major donors.

Here’s my prediction.  His superPAC will carry him another month, maybe two.  But unless he shoots an Isis coyote on his morning run, he has squandered another opportunity.

You know, I was so happy when he entered the race so I would have the opportunity to watch him make a fool of himself another time.  So far, so good.

Thanks to Gray for the heads up.

Another One Bites The Dust

As I told you last week, the Republican Williamson County District Attorney Jana Duty got herself into a mess of trouble by jacking with a judge.  Even the cross between her boobs couldn’t gather out of trouble.

Jana fessed up and is headed to the pokey.

Williamson County District Attorney Jana Duty is going to jail Friday instead of appealing a contempt of court ruling against her, according to a court document.

Duty agreed to surrender her personal bond Friday and start serving her jail sentence, an affidavit to surrender filed Friday said.

The defendant in charged with following a woman out of a mall and then strangling her.  His first trial ended in a mistrial.

He was scheduled to be retried this spring until defense attorneys accused Duty and prosecutors of withholding time stamp information on a crucial surveillance video from a Wal-Mart that conflicted with the defense’s timeline of events.

Duty has said, according to court documents, that she never withheld the time stamp information but defense attorneys just didn’t have the right software to play it.

Yeah, right.  Wrong software.  Sure.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.
