Oops and Rick Perry’s Voting Habits

April 07, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Remember last week when I told you about Rick Perry violating Texas election law by personally picking up his ballot by mail in Fayette County?

And remember how I told you that I reported it to the only proper authorities that I know – Glen Maxey?

Well, it appears that I know what the hell I’m doing, by gawd.

  1. I love love love this! If nothing else, he is all over the news in Texas again for being stupid, again 🙂

    1
  2. BUT but when do we get to see him handcuffed and escorted by two burly deputies coming to jail like the common criminal that he is?????

    2
  3. Prosecute the bugger for voting fraud!

  4. AKLynne says:

Glad he’s getting called out…and maybe more…on this. Thanks, JJ and Glen!

  5. Sandridge says:

Yeah, but that last pending criminal charge against him was just dismissed by the Appeals court. So he’s skated away again.
Paxton’s indictments seem to be melting away too.

There is no way a Repub in this state gets convicted of anything from here on in.
The Dukes of Dumbassistan keep on griftin’ and walkin’…

(And the oblique ref to Duval County is intentional, I’ve worked down there (it was ‘up there’ back then). Now the whole state has gotten Parranized, Archie and George couldn’t even imagine it.)

  7. Mark Schlemmer says:

Rick “Duh Perp” Perry will skate away again. Laws are for the “little people.” So much corruption, so little time, in a Texas ruled by Teabaggers.

  8. maryelle says:

Good for you, J.J, and Glen Maxey for exposing Perry’s continued lawlessness, even if the The Rethuglicans sweep it under the rug. That rug’s getting pretty lumpy by now.
Isn’t voter fraud a federal offense?

    8
  9. Rasty Bob says:

when it comes to pols, I think AZ. and TX. should have a dumb off.

    9
  10. Maryelle, when a rug doesn’t stretch out flat it looses its “grip” on whatever is underneath and boy howdy can you ever take a helluva fall! And of course, you never see it coming!

  11. Sandridge, take heart! Just keep remembering that it wasn’t all the murders and such that brought Capone down. It was a little thing some federal tax bureaucrat at IRS found in his tax returns that put him in jail for the rest of his life. Yup. Its always those damn little things.

    11
  12. Sandridge says:

    maggie,
Yep, the IRS was a big factor in bringing down Archie and George Parr in Duval too.
Another dang good reason to not elect a Repuke preznit in November. With one of them in the WH we know the corruption would eventually overwhelm the (presumed) integrity of the IRS.

If only pEick had some skeletons in his closet…the “Panama Papers” deal has only exposed some foreign affairs so far, it’s supposed to dump on American perps soon, stay tuned.

  13. Zyxomma says:

“So Texas Republicans have a choice: either we have strict enforcement of the laws, or we all allow election clerks to ignore laws that inconvenience voters. If this isn’t investigated, then there is no reason that voters should obey other laws that make it harder to vote.”

Any state whose legislature makes it harder to vote is one I’ll not visit. Voting is a citizen’s RIGHT and should be a duty as well. Register and Vote.

  14. Lorraine in Spring says:

Huh. Just when he thought he was in the clear.

I think MissJuanitaJeanHerOwnself, Glen Maxey, & Alfredo at the Dairy Queen should have their own investigative tee vee news show. Call it “Your Daily Goober”.

  15. e platypus onion says:

I can’t imagine, with all the wingnut appointed judges in Texas, that Perry is in any danger of having a criminal, seminal, subliminal, or tutti-frutti record.

    15
  16. Wyatt Earl says:

Perry’s vote was lost in the mail?

I used to work in a small bank, and it was amazing how many people that got past due notices on their loans were late because the notice was lost in the mail. Boy, that post office could lose those things like you wouldn’t believe.

Interest checks on CD’s? In ten years not one loss by the post office.
