Yeah, But There’s A Simple Explanation

Why won’t Republican candidates acknowledge evolution?

Because they did not evolve.  Their family tree doesn’t divide.

Crazy thought of the day

While a 2014 Pew Research Center poll found that the number of Republicans who believe in evolution has gone down over the past five years, with 43 percent now saying that human beings have evolved, down from 54 percent when the same poll was given in 2009.

Hey, that alone proves that Republicans are evolving downward.

    Devolution – it happens.

  2. We are not men.
    We are devo.

  3. Scott Walker couldn’t have evolved. He’s a Zombie. He has dead eyes. Truly. His eyes have no life in them.
    Creepy.

    3
  4. Walker lists his religion as Nondenominational Evangelicalism. Sounds pretty safe for a guy who will kiss butts of creationists and fundamentalist morons for votes, yet who will try to avoid completely turning off the mainstream. Just another phony long on ambition and short on scruples.

JanK – your comment made me think of Jaws: You know the thing about a shark, he’s got… lifeless eyes, black eyes,
    like a doll’s eye.

The mental, logical and verbal gymnastics these people have to go through just to avoid saying something that the base will hate is hilarious!

Little Piyush Jindal, whose undergraduate degree is in BIOLOGY, gives the answer “well, I’m not an EVOLUTIONARY biologist.” He’s also a Catholic, and his religious beliefs direct him to accept the teaching magisterium of the Church, which embraces evolution whole-heartedly, among other hot-button issues like global warming and the sin of the death penalty.

So, he’s a biologist, but not really, and a Catholic, but not really, and against the GOP being the “party of stupid”…

    …but not really.

  7. The WashPost today has a story about Walker’s dropping out of university in his senior year. Apparently he was a lot more interested in running for student body president than he was in things like attending classes and doing course work.

  8. All the evidence you really need for evolution (though there’s a vast amount) is to read the paper for a few days and then go down to the monkey house and watch for a while. Or Congress. Either one. Both in the same day could lead to depression and the need for a good strong drink.

    8
  9. Any country that gets its “science” from politicians is in deep trouble.

    9
  10. What the heck is a NON-EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGIST? Either you accept the scientific evidence of evolution, or you do not qualify as a biologist, scientist or even educated. Watching Republican’ts try to hedge their bets with the base could drive one to insanity…or hilarity.

    10
  11. Non-denominational Evangelism? Those are simply Baptists that don’t want to call themselves Baptists.

C is for the Crap I don’t give a damn about
H is for the Hell I can raise
A is for the List I’m on
N is for No One But Me
G is for Glorious, glorious, nothing but the one of us
E is for Excellent already so forget about evolving
