WWF Trump

The bitter infighting that plagued Donald Trump’s campaign during the Republican presidential primary is starting to spill over into his team’s efforts to establish an administration and political operation, according to more than half a dozen sources familiar with the planning efforts.

The tensions played a role in a Friday shakeup in which the president-elect replaced his transition team chief Chris Christie with his running mate Mike Pence. Sources familiar with the move say it was precipitated partly by clashes between Christie’s allies and rival factions on the transition team, as well as Trump’s influential son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Bitter infighting is a Trump trademark.  Now if he could just find a way to make it build a wall.

  1. It’s always wonderful when conservatives cannibalize one another.

    1
  2. Our enemies are watching this circus.

    2
  3. Pity we can’t trick Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell into tweeting insults about Trump – if we could gin up infighting between the Congress and The Donald, it’d be the country’s salvation.

    😉

  4. I think he’s already backpedaling on some of the stuff he got elected on…repealing Obamacare is one. We’re in for a bumpy ride, and I hope the GOP and the Trump supporters ultimately get the roughest part.

My transgender activist son was knocked down emotionally very hard on Wednesday but is already gearing up and is quite angry …ready to keep fighting. Thank God!

RepubAnon, wait for it. It won’t be long before Donnie notices that Mitch is a lazy do nothing and the “low energy” jibes begin. As for Lyin’ Ryan, Donnie actually thinks he has a budget plan. Just wait until he beholds those empty folders. Those tweets won’t be safe for Mama or sailors under the age of 40.

AKLynne, let your son know there’s room on my memorial Trayvon Martin hoodie for a safety pin, arm bands and everything else we can wear to show unity.

If it weren’t a tragedy, it would be funny. No one of ability wants to work for pussy grabber. This is turning out not to be “fun”. I believe the tweets already started. Railing against the media. That’s a laugh. The media put him where he is and the first thing he does is turn on them. He’ll turn on the whole GOP and it on him. The GOP just loves to picnic on themselves. What I fear is violence from the white supremists with guns. He lied to them. That’s one thing they won’t tolerate. From anyone.

  7. A friend said in email that she was wearing a safety pin. I had to look up why. Now I need to find a big honkin’ safety pin.

Anyone who wants to feel a little better about the world, go to youtube.com and search for “hug a Muslim”. There are a number of videos of Muslim men standing alone in a crowded place, sometimes blindfolded, with a sign saying that he trusts us, and please hug him if we trust him. This one was in Paris after the killings:

Just like Dubya, more so in fact, Donnie is a snake oil salesman. I’m sitting back and watching how much America will buy. Pass the popcorn.

  9. Addendum on “Hug a Muslim” videos– this one in Los Angeles

uses a beautiful song called “Hold My Hand” by Maher Zain. I’d never heard of Zain, who is Lebanese and now Swedish, but it’s a good Democratic sort of song. Here it is with lyrics:

  10. charles r. phillips says:

JAK, Shrub was a piker, Darth Cheney was the evil genius of the two. One smooth everyman, one evil, determined shiva=one really, really bad administration.

Now we have a pathalogical liar/narsisist conman and a religious/political zealot. If they impeach Trump, we’re stuck with Pence. No better, just different.

    10
  11. ya know. a bolt of lightning during the inauguration would be pretty helpful.

    11
  12. Just wait. Both Rudy and Newt know that t-Rump just wants the title and brand enhancement of the office. Each of them sees themselves as Rasputin to Tsar Donald. Each is poised to grasp their chance to finally run the country. They will not work together. Each is even now planning to discredit the other like Stalin did to Trotsky (somehow, the Russian analogies just seems to work with t-Rump”s group)
But look at the cold, reptilian eyes of donald”s male spawn and son-in-law. They will work together to be the power behind the throne. I think Pence just wants to serve his ideologies but maybe the scent of blood in the water will stir his ambitions too. Again, just imagine rudy and newt, each wanting to be the top henchman of a blowhard president. They make Rahm Emmanuel look both competent and like a sweet, cuddly bunny wabbit. Let the court intrigues begin to the exclusion of all progress on their dastardly schemes for the country.

    12
  13. My favorite quote from the article-
“Kushner’s father was prosecuted and convicted for tax evasion, illegal campaign donations and witness tampering by Christie during his time as a U.S. attorney.

“Jared doesn’t like Christie,” the person said. “He’s always held that against Christie.l

I guess Kushner didn’t have enough cash or clout to buy Christie off.

    13
  14. @Rhea

Imagonna wear a Drumpf safety pin. Cause I wanna hug that f****r by the throat until his tongue falls out.

    14
  15. JAKvirginia says:

Charles: Your description of Trump is almost a compliment in some circles (yeah, I’m looking at you Mr. Icahn!). But to simplify, Donnie has been, is now, and forever shall be out for Donnie and Donnie alone. One of the great ironies for me is how the French have lionized Napoleon giving him THE place of honor in Paris. A man who ran away from every defeat, got 1 million frenchman killed and devastated Europe and France so badly it took nearly a century to recover. BUT… he gave us gloire!
Glory. Stupid worthless glory… and some nice big paintings to glorify that glory. This is Trump. He wants glory and he’ll take us to the bottom of the pit to get it. Just like the French in the early 1800’s, I’m afraid of how many here will blindly assist him.

    15
  16. charles.r.phillips–no, Pence would be worse. Donnie has alienated enough people that his whole term should be chaos. Pence walks the party line and he’ll rubber stamp everything the Snacilbuper put in front of him. Still chaos, but even more innocents are likely to suffer.

  18. Linda Lester says:

I read the book The Making of Donald Trump by David C. Johnston which says it all about Trump and his history. He is in to this for himself. He has played the media and the Republican party. I urge those who have not read this to do so. Not only does he have interests shall we say with Russia, but some connections with some very shady characters with the Mob here in the US not surprising–casinos anyone? Not one word of this by the Media in the primary or any time. Trump has made the deal!! The deal is that he will let the nut job Pence run the show and he will continue to engorge his assets and riches at taxpayer expense–anyone see the deal he made with the US government to build his hotel in the old post office?? The supremists were duped into believing that the immediate and systematic building of the wall and deportation was first on the list??? We will not see any of that happening the first 100 days. He will also be snubbing his nose at the so called congressional leaders Mitch and Paulie– Stay tuned.

    18
  19. Pence is more dangerous. Trump just says crap, Pence BELIEVES his crap.

    19
  20. Linda Lester says:

You are right on there–this is the true conspiracy–too much of a disconnect between Trump (pretty non religious) and Pence, extreme right wing evangelical nut job–his policies in Indiana show what he is capable of–Trump just turned over the reins of it all to Pence–one wonders if Trump will resign day one after inaugurated and leave it to Pence–may be that was the deal?? In the meantime, we will have Pence either way–He is very dangerous and with the help of Congress, who knows what evil deeds will they conspire against we the people–Ryan is already drawing up his plans to privatize Medicare and Social security so they can turn our money over to their corporate paymasters, the mega insurance companies and the banks to handle our money and the new round of cuts!! Still do not comprehend why people can not see through the con job before they let it happen–

    20
  21. Wow! Great great posts! Now I believe more than ever what I originally thought about this cabal is best said in two words:
    blood spatter.

    21
  22. Although there will be nothing funny about a Trump administration, he clearly could not manage his campaign so why should anyone believe that he can manage the country. We need to brace ourselves for a cabinet of Michael Browns.

    22
  23. @AliceBeth
Kinda like Drumpf build castles in the sky. Pence lives in them. Their psychiatrists collect the rent.

    23
  24. I’d settle for Michael Brown, who was merely incompetent, not actively malevolent.

    24
  25. True story:
I met an unassuming, small, Brit while I was working overseas. He told me that he’d been one of the Mods (that are depicted in the movie Quadrophenia), and despite his looks, he was a terror in the day when they had riots with the Rockers. My point here is that open safety pins placed on the back of those beautiful, wide, lapels were a nasty thing to grab ahold of in a fight…

I don’t wish for a fight, but we shall stand up for our rights!

    25
  26. Oh yeah,

And he always wore a safety helmet, the better to head-butt his attackers with…

We don’t have the nasty, gritty history that the Brits do, but it is time we call out the bullies wherever and whenever we can.

    26
  27. So. I think we’ll find out that Lyin Ryan is much more extreme than he’s shown. Maybe if His Popeness gets after Lyin Ryan about his “Gouge the Poor/Give to the Rich” economic plans that will help.

What will the Trumpkins think when their hero takes away their Medicare, Social Sec, SNAP, etc? I’m thinking when it hits them where they live, they might pay just a little bit of attention. Just a little?

    Well, a girl can hope.

    27
  28. Since I want to keep my place on FB social and not political, I will share this with all of you. I know I am not the only person to think this, but have not see it elsewhere.

When Trump chooses his cabinet and staff he is not choosing”the best” (like he said). He is choosing racists, he is choosing bigots, he is choosing anti-Semites, he is choosing ignorant people, he is choosing career politicians he is choosing self-righteous faux Christians, and some I suppose are good people. I have not seen any evidence of the good people yet.

If you choose to add to this list, please do so.

    28
  29. Linda Phipps says:

AliceBeth, Trump is choosing his yes men. Great way to run the country dontcha think?

    29
  30. In choosing Steve Bannon as his advisor, Trump is installing a Nazi in the West Wing. And the GOP Congress is apparently compliant, as long as they have their precious damned majority.

    30
  31. And speaking of Trump and WWF (or WWE as they are known now), anyone see this about possibly considering a McMahon for Commerce Sec.?
