Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
lol Thanks for the laugh, El Jefe. What should have been a great week with the election of both Senators Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia sure went to hell in a hand basket after the fu king moron sent his Meal Team Six to invade the Capitol Building.
In other wtf moments from that insurrection, Republicon members of Congress refused to wear masks when the social distancing became impossible as they were crowded into close quarters for their safety. As if we needed any more reminders as to what selfish morons they are.
Ironic. The fu king moron encouraged his supporters to travel from all over during a pandemic assuredly guaranteeing the spread to their communities and families upon their return. Yet they still support Donnie. Wonder if they’ll still feel that way when a ventilator tube is shoved down their throats or a member of their family dies due to their st00pidity.
I sincerely wish everyone could be as fortunate as Jane, myself and our family. Being rural isolating is not the challenge it is for so many who live in crowded cities and/or multiple family homes. We’re able to work at and from home and give our boys free range to play safely. We have compassion we lack the words to express for those who must sacrifice so much to be semi sort of safe, or not because Congress failed to give them the support necessary they could isolate without starving.
So yes, we’re angry when the fu king moron endangered the whole country because he fee fees were hurt and asked his supporters to commit crimes and be the worst super spreader event ever with unnecessary travel.
Impeach? Prosecute the fu king moron, his maladministration and crime family to the full extent of the law. Or, shed the expense and send them to Iran.
1Good one, Jane and PKM – oddly, I was taught in my psych courses that people who behave the way the Vanilla Isis group did do so out of fear. I would even pay for their psych eval if I could hear exactly from them what scares them so much they would commit sedition.
Also, just herd that another Capitol police officer has died from his injuries. Where I am concerned, this is a second homicide charge that should be dropped entirely on tRump’s head. I’ve seen enough videos from cell phones on TV to feel that the ones who carried out the task of homicide can be identified. Frankly, I am amazed at the up-front coverage by cell phone!
2I read that the second officer was a suicide, but I haven’t seen any details beyond that.
3Aunt Tifa is a tough old broad!
4It’s been discovered Congresswoman Lauren Boebert the Q supporter from Colorado, live Tweeted Nancy Pelosi’s location during the insurrection. She tried to scrub the Tweets from her account but not soon enough:

5maggie @2 I’d “go” with fear to a degree as to their behavior, but mostly misdirected anger as to their motivations. They’re mad, they feel grieved, etc. – we “get” that. Their missing element is the why. By misdirected anger, I mean that their woes are not because of blacks, Jews, liberals or any other misperceived “other.” When their misery is a result of their voting practice of voting against their own interests and wallowing down any floating log jam of conspiracy theory that redirects their anger from the real source- Republicons and the donor class that owns them.
6AK Lynne, I’ve read similar stories. I can only advise extreme caution about such an assessment. Even when notes are left, most “suicides” are accidents. Having been witness to too many in an official capacity, one only a few months ago.
If the officer in question did take his life by accident or intent because he felt either shame or betrayal because he was led astray by those in charge, or because of what he saw. When the time is appropriate, I hope those around his family can muster the appropriate words of compassion that will give them comfort in their grief.
7There really is an Aunt Tifa!
She’s an 84-year-old grandmother from Redmond, WA, Aunt Tifa Yashida, a former elementary school teacher; and she has a cat named Kettles.
Kettles is neat, a big white kitty with one blue, one amber eye.

8Rick: If Boebert did that, she should be arrested and accused of conspiracy to commit murder. Esp. if it was more than one tweet, tracking Pelosi for those who had said they wanted to kill her; her attempt to hide her tweets is additional proof that she knew they were damaging evidence. And she should be ejected from the House.
