Well, Ain’t She Just One Silly Girl

November 12, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I think I’ve told you guys before that Cathy Engelbrecht is a neighbor of mine and she runs True The Vote, a money-making operation that she invented to distract old white people from Republicans stealing elections and then giving her all their money.  That’s the truth.  I went to one of her lectures. I am 68 years old and I was the youngest person there and the only one who could hear. I know that because I was the only one cringing.

Cathy must have gotten her a graphics person. Get a load of this.

Now, I just want to remind you that Cathy did diddle squat with Republican election fraud going on right under her nose with a local candidate she supported. And that she and her husband run a machine shop with “serious” violations to workers health and safety.

How she keeps a tax-exempt status is stranger to me than UFO’s.

Hydra.  Well Miss Cathy Prissy, I just want you to know that I’ve been called worse. Much worse. And, by the way, so have you.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.

Well, either she or her graphics person or both are none too smart! The hydra had multiple heads not multiple arms like an octopus. Sheesh.

    1
  2. JAKvirginia, you’re right, of course, but I think they just got the wrong monster: Medusa had snakes for hair, and that fits this situation better.

She will keep her tax exempt status as long as the IRS is afraid to enforce the law.

People like her have knocked the fear of God outa the IRS, and the fear of TeaPublicans in. When there are no more threats to subpeona and jail tax officials for doing their jobs, maybe scams like hers will dissappear.

    Along with her.

The lady is a little short on her political awareness. She should check out those mostly southern states that have gerrymandered conservatives into safe districts.

  5. Do any of JJ’s fans know how and where to protest these 4013c’s that are political? Maybe if we start systematically causing them a little trouble, they might get some ethics. It’s a long shot. If you know of a website, please let us all know. Thanks.

  6. My point exactly. Mythologically, hydra has many heads, ie representing a republican debate, biologically, aside from it’s tentacles, the hydra is equipped with testis, ovaries and a huge gastrointestinal tract. Yes, so many comparisons to their republican counterparts; it has a head and a foot, its tentacles grab at passing donations and it reproduces asexually…which In all fairness is not true for republicans, it just feels that way.

charles r. phillips, thank you for speaking to one of our major frustrations, the ‘selective’ auditing by the IRS. Jane and I do volunteer work with regional animal rescue non-profits. The record keeping is rigorous and the audits happen annually without fail. We like to think of ourselves as the “good guys.” No one receives a salary, in fact we invest our money as well as our time to find homes for older pets. Everyone loves a kitten or a puppy. But it’s a little more involved finding good permanent homes for the older kids.

Yet scourges like Cathy and the proliferate scams that Alfredo tracks go scamming without nary a glance from the IRS. It really is an outrage that these organizations are not audited in the first year of their existence and thereafter, until they can prove they are not skimming and scamming. FGS look at $arahPac. She hasn’t run for office in nearly a decade and that PAC ‘generously’ contributes less than 10% of the intake to political purpose. Or, Mental Ben with his plowing of profits to generate more profits.

Or, some “churches.” Tax them all. The smaller houses of worship should pay little or no taxes, if they are legit. Meaning they generously give that which they take in for the purpose of doing great things. The ones who would be hardest hit are the ones who richly deserve to be hit. Those that are not feeding the poor or helping with housing, while they ensconce themselves with private jets, mega million dollar mansions and the like. Yeah Buddy. if you are preaching from sports arenas and dialing for dollars, you need to be paying taxes.

    7
  8. PKM, amen on all that. It really got up my nose that a bunch of churches held an announced endorse-a-thon a while back, DARING the IRS to penalize them for telling their congregations how to vote, and not one whit of a response from the cowardly IRS.

Dang, I wish the lefties could get a torch-and-pitchfork mob going the way the RWNJs do over every little thing.

“How the left plans to destroy American elections”– by winning them, apparently. Or by having a greater number of Democratic votes actually translate into a greater number of legislators, which often doesn’t happen now thanks to GOP gerrymandering.

    8
  9. Thanks to one and all about the descriptions of real hydras. That damn graphic had me so confused! The twirly-head responsible for it all did not confuse or enthuse me. Wow! What a waste of DNA is she!

    9
  10. Is she telling the elderlies to vote Republican? Or is she saying something else.

    10
  11. JAKvirginia says:

PKM: For you and Jane. Love you both for helping our furry friends. I started my own little thing this year. I “rescued” money — found it all… in the street, parking lots… wherever. I’m at $53 and counting. I want to donate to a good animal rescue group, preferably in the VA suburbs of DC. Any suggestions?

  13. One of the sites I read aboot ole Cathy said, in part, that she was “just a family business owner, wife and mother from Houston, Texas. She is a tall, soft-spoken woman with an easy demeanor.” That made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. With all those cash outflows where does she get the spare change to found not one but two different non-profits. What a load of horse manure. She’s probably a 1%er with an inborn disgust of middle class families.

JAKvirginia, this link provides a partial list of the many wonderful groups in Virginia. http://www.dogloversdigest.com/virginia-rescue-shelters-and-organizations/

Any one of them will appreciate your donation to help provide food, veterinary services, and toys to help socialize their many guests waiting for forever homes.

    14
  15. JAKvirginia says:

    PKM: Much thanks.

    15
  16. JAKvirgina, djw, & Bunny –
Thank you all for pointing out that when it comes to creating a visual mythology to go with the rest of her mythology, fantasy, or poli-sci-fi, Cathy Engelbrecht doesn’t have enough heads to know what makes sense.

    16
  17. Also, she didn’t proofread the text on her graphic. It looks like “The Left is Disroving American Elections.” I’d be in favor of that, if it meant erasing any residual influence by Turd Blossom.

  18. daChipster says:

Speaking of crypto-zoology: There are more Bigfoot sightings than incidences of in-person voter fraud.

JAKvirginia – daMrs is hooked up to all the rescue orgs but is not familiar with the east coast. She recommends finding “Gabe to the Rescue” on Facebook. Gabe is the late Hero dog award winner whose soldier, Chuck, raises money to help all sorts of dogs. He will answer direct questions about dogs who need help today, or direct you to the most deserving local to you.

    The Kraken and the Cracker

Sheesh, don’t these people watch Geico commercials?

    19
  20. JAKVirginia, bless you!

I think you’ll find many local no-kill shelters very deserving of your donation. If there’s one like our Max Fund here in Denver, that also provides discounted vet care to pet owners, they get my vote.

    20
  21. Uhh, the pets get the discounted vet CARE. Not the owners. Humans still need to rely on the ACA.

    21
  22. daChipster says:
“There are more Bigfoot sightings than incidences of in-person voter fraud.”

That’s because so many Bigfoot (Bigfeet?) forget to bring a photo I.D. with them to the voting stations. As any mountain or forest poll worker will tell you, they’re big (it’s in their name) & some of them will try and vote anyway.

    22
  23. JAKvirginia says:

    Thanks, daChipster… and daMrs.

  24. Mary Beth @ 5, Here’s the form the IRS wants people to use to report a tax exempt org doing bad stuff – https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f13909.pdf

The instructions include an address to use.

    24
  25. Hmmmm. I don’t reckon Miz E is upset about the voter fraud case in DFW, since the non-citizen who voted participated in the Republican primary.

    25
  26. Marge Wood says:

Ewwwww. I don’t like that book cover.

    26
  27. Elizabeth Moon says:

I doubt Miz E really wants a “candid conversation” with anyone but her cronies…because I could give her a candid conversation that would have her ears pinned back and bright red.

Otherwise, he might start saying terrible things about him.
