Watching Barr

January 15, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I am working today and watching the teevee to see if I cuss Lindsey Graham or William Barr first.

I have five Nerf balls to throw at the screen.  I’m betting that lasts maybe 15 minutes or so.

I am also watching the three Democrats – Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, and Cory Booker – who are running for president try to distinguish themselves from the pack.

Give me strength, Lord.

On edit:  Okay, I just used three Nerf balls within the first three minutes of Lindsey Graham.  He’s just reading Trump’s tweets.

Only three nerf balls for Lindsey Graham? I admire your restraint.

  4. After watching lowlights of the Senate snacilbupeR lobbing softballs at the next AG, somebody oughta tie a kerosene soaked rag around their legs to keep the ants from eating their candy a$$es.

Waiting for someone to hone in on Barr over his weasel worded response to issues of his recusal re the Mueller investigation. And, since pResident Donnie is so blatant about his obstruction of justice, witness tampering and attempts to use DOJ as his personal law firm, would like to hear some hard questions about Barr’s time as AG when he interfered in the Iran-Contra investigation by proximity to the pardoning of key witnesses.

Gack. Marsha Blackburn was an embarrassment to democracy when in the House. Senate and Judicial Committee? Living proof that the Democratic Party needs to recruit good candidates and compete in every state as if our lives depend upon it. Grassley. Please. Iowa is known as a farm state. Doesn’t anyone have a nice pasture for him?

  6. Joni Ernst has just spent her time feeding Trump talking points to Barr. What a waste of time.

What kinda critter is Joanie Ernst wearing on her head? Looks like roadkill.

  8. According to the Wikipedia, empty golf shirt Marsha Blackburn, “In April 2018, she signed onto a letter formally nominating President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize “in recognition of his work to end the Korean War, denuclearize the Korean peninsula and bring peace to the region.””

    WTF????

  9. The US Senate is the greatest deliberative body in the world.
Always though this meant an argument over a problem discussed by all sides, followed by a solution. Now I find out its because they are as slow as a slug.

Micr, was hoping it would be safe to watch C-SPAN now that NDP has become Speaker, but the snacilbupeR are hell bent on Gohmertizing the Senate now with the likes of Blackburn, Cotton, Lee and Snowball what’s his name from OK. And, after his rendition of Green Eggs and Ham, Teddie Crooze shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a children’s story hour. Then there’s that derp from LA, John no relation Kennedy. Old Scratch McConnell really should take a look at what he’s seating on the R side. The clown show caucus has escaped the House and taken up refuge in the Senate.

  11. As always Joanie “Cut ’em Now” Ernst makes me uncomfortable. She enjoys castratin’ waaaaay too much.

  12. Lindse Graham’s ridiculous questions regarding investigating the FBI made my blood pressure ties precipitously so I turned it off.

  13. Sorry, should be Lindsey, but he deserves to have his name misspelled. Also should be, “made my blood pressure rise”.
Just thinking about his preposterous claims must affect my typing.

  14. TN did have a good Dem Senate candidate in Bredesen. I believe he was even leading Marshmallow Blackbird in polls. I was rather shocked when she won. Though what do I know, I’m on the West Coast. Marshy brought up angel moms (in the Barr hearing), who I guess are moms whose children were killed by undocumented immigrants. Let me know if that’s incorrect. But I’m wondering if Blackbird is equally concerned about moms whose children were killed by police or others, such as new Rep. Lucy McBath of GA. Are they included as angel moms? Does it matter to Marsh if those kids aren’t white? I wish someone would ask her.
