If you want to make some money, they’re taking bets now.

I guess the real professionals think his odds of finishing his term are only about 50/50.

And the Nobel Peace Prize ain’t even on the plate.

  1. In my initial bet with friends, I said that he would be out in 6 months. That was probably too optimistic, but I do think impeachment proceedings or a resignation will happen within the first year. I don’t think the country can stand much longer than that. It will depend upon the Republicans deciding to put country before party however.

One thing I have learned living in a gambling state is there are few ways to improve the odds, but grab them when you can. There’s one definite about Donnie, he loves the appearance of winning. Remember his “yuuuuuuuuge” inauguration crowds? Coming up short in comparisons to President Obama really trips his trigger.

Let’s twitter his trigger. Please, everyone at the WMDBS with a twitter account, send Orange Foolius this graphic: https://i.redd.it/60c1sf4yvqjy.png

Twitter is Donnie’s “home court.” It will kill him to learn that President Obama is beating him 4:1 where Donnie thinks he is King. (President Obama has over 80 million followers, while Donnie is stuck in the low 20 millions.) Let’s frost his chops, get under his thin skin, chafe his ample posterior, and generally let Donnie know that he’s a LOSER.*

    * Won’t hurt to remind Orange Foolius daily that he LOST the popular vote, ergo people don’t like him. #FryThatFragileEgo

  3. From the outside it seems logical he won’t last, but I think the Cheez Whiz kid is in a bubble.

If rumors are true, his keepers protect him from most negative feedback. He may think that he is immensely popular and adored, which would be an incentive for him to stay.

And I can’t see the House Repubs impeaching him as long as he is popular with an ignorant, vindictive base. Nothing matters more to them than their own re-election and they need those base votes.

  4. I agree if the Republicans don’t see the light, their party will always be remembered for this bad choice! The party was never behind him but never ‘manned up’ and said so, so shame on them. I hope spend than later, we cannot stand much more!

Paddy Power in Ireland has been taking bets on this for months.

My take on it is that the Republicans will impeach him before the 2018 elections so they can brag about “putting country first”, and it gives them lots of time to destroy everything they can beforehand. A win-win for them…not so much for the rest of us.

AK Lynne, maybe we need to focus on the droolers in Congress for awhile? Make them own up to their own crimes, and if they won’t, keep splattering them with doodoo del toro? If there is enough of it, and there is enough fact involved, I doubt they will overcome primary challenges from the center of their party.

  7. Oops, typos…I meant ‘sooner than later’

I’ve hitched my hopes to “…falsely claiming that a president committed an impeachable offense is an impeachable offense…”, but the list is long and depends on this Russia investigation and the emoluments clause. Hope some Dem is keeping a list. That means you, Al Franken. Don’t think it will be done within a year, more like 2.

Well, congress weighs many, many tons. Getting anything that big to move takes a very large cattle prod. But wait! We, the voters, have such a prod and it works. As my daddy used to say “vote the bastards out”. The electorate is waking up. Politicians who don’t put country and constituents first are in for a rude awakening. Please, everyone, get people registered and get them to vote. We the people have awesome power and it’s time we used it.
    EDUCATE! INFORM! VOTE!!

  10. I still believe that within 1 year in office, Donnie will:

    – be under impeachment processing.
    – or have resigned because he wasn’t the legacy he thought he would be, though medical reasons might be cited as cause.
    – or have retreated to his twitter fantasy and Trump business and left running of country to the minions.

I know his handlers are striving to keep his ego fed, but obviously they let crap get through.

Lunargent, count us in, thank you. We’ve heard that Donnie likes pictures, so Jane is loading our printer/scanner to provide us with some picture post cards with this image: https://i.redd.it/60c1sf4yvqjy.png
