Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Take it easy!
1Yay on both of you.

2Here’s to wishing you a comfy rest and friends and family to keep it that way… ^
^ But do the PT like you’re supposed to.
3First a move, then the hullaballoo with a series of late night inaugaoral parties for the new judge and now an accident.
4Take a break.
Put your feet up and relax
Take time you heal you have earned it and after such a busy couple of months and the universe might be trying to make you take the time you deserve to fully recuperate and recharge.
Will be a busy and difficult year ahead let yourself get a full head of steam before you charge back into the fray.
Be well.
Continuing the wishes for a speedy recovery to Judge Bankston and Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself! Being slapped about by sodium azide powered air bags is no fun. Redefines air, not to mention that canvas “bag” ain’t no pillow.
Imagine the conversation the rear ender had, if he has an attorney. “Sparky, no, you didn’t ‘just’ hit an attorney and his wife. You hit a judge. Not that there are any smart accidents, but you now own the booby prize of bad luck.”
5Welcome home. Enjoy a well deserved rest and recuperation. PR may not be fun but it is necessary for full recovery. May you do so quickly. I miss you and your comments.
6Even better news than the impeachment, I say. Take it easy……
7We love you, we miss you, come back as soon as you’re able.
8I hope the good news from the House will speed your recovery.
I hope the usual dip-shittery from the Senate will not complicate the speedy recovery.
My Rx: Dry martini as needed.
9Glad you’re home for the holidays!
10Thank goodness you’re home. Take care of yourselves.
11Hang in there, y’all! Heal, do the PT, and know that we’re all pulling for you.
12So glad they are back home. Thanks for letting us know, boss.
13Welcome Home, Juanita Jean & Bubba!
Take all the time you need to rest and recover. The Salon is in El Jefe’s capable hands and he’s been keeping us busy.
May your Holidays be Merry!
Love from VA.
14So glad to hear you’re home. That’s got to be more comfortable than being in strange places while trying to rest and recoop.
Take care and take your time coming back. EJ will hold the fort till you’re able to pick up again.
15Best news of the yr. Thanks for the update!
16We miss you, JJ, but please don’t push yourself. Show up when you’re ready. In the meantime, do everything the docs told you to do, and when you’re back on track, we’ll break out the margaritas and celebrate. Much love from North Texas!
17Glad you’re both home and on the mend and looking forward to your return to the salon
18Come back to the five and dime, Juanita Jean, Juanita Jean.
19Add my happiness at your recovery to all these good wishes. Sending love and hugs from Alaska too.
20If laughter is the best medicine, please take the time to laugh, guffaw, chortle, snicker, giggle, and generally carry on with all and sundry indications of amusement over Don the Con’s impeacement yesterday. You’ll heal in no time……
21So happy to hear of the improvement. Look forward to again hearing your thoughts on the day’s events soon. Best to you and your family from Cleveland Ohio.
22Mmmm, now that you’re stabilized and back home:
Was Mike Mulvaney in Dallas at the time of your “accident”?
23My comment@6 on Tweet of the Day was supposed to be here. Sorry.
24Rest. Rest. Rest. Twelfth Night and Carnivale will be here before you know it. ;>
25Glad to hear you are on the mend.
26Rest up, enjoy the holidays, do your PT and get in tip top shape for 2020, when we will need you more than ever.
27Good karma coming to you from everywhere, including
28Pittsburgh, PA. Time for a good book, preferably non-
political. Let the young-uns do for you.
Merry at home!
Darn glad that you are home for Christmas. Went through something like this with my late husband. Christmas Day sped up his recovery by 99%.
29Juanita Jean – she’s like the RBG of the blog world – you can keep throwing things at her – but she comes back roaring!
30There’s no place like home, and there’s no salon like Juanita Jean’s!
31Get better fast JJ. I love your snark!
32Welcome home.
It feels like you have been gone forever. Glad you and Bubba are on the mend.
33We’ve missed you, Juanita Jean. I glad you made it home OK. I hope you are still mending and still taking care of yourself and not overdoing anything. There’s time to overdo stuff after you are all better!
34May you both heal fully and quickly. This old yankee is very grateful for Texans like you folks. Gives me hope for the rest of us.
35Good to hear you’re both doing better! Take it easy & sending best wishes from the Oregon coast!
