Uh Oh

December 08, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

You know how you’ve tumbled butt first into hell?  When Dick Cheney says, “Whoa, dude, that’s too mean.”

That’s how you know.  Darth Cheney thinks you’re being hateful.

Cheney, a decisive conservative himself, said Monday on The Hugh Hewitt Show that the ban “goes against everything we stand for and believe in.”

I am certain he favors waterboarding them but keeping them out of the country — that goes too far.

  1. Cheney a decisive conservative? Not the adjective I’d choose.

Given that the Repubs in general having been churning up fear and hate for Muslims (and want to bomb and kill a whole lot of them), it will be interesting to see how they distance themselves from Trump. I doubt it can be done without a basic change in the party and that’s not going to happen.

Besides, mainstream Repubs attacking Trump will just make him more popular with the base. The problem with teaching your base to hate government is that eventually they are going to figure out that you are government.

  2. Banning Muslims from America “…goes against everything we stand for…”, but torturing people doesn’t?????????????????
Great to see Darth has his priorities straight.

Fear not that Darth Dicky has connected with some shred of inner humanity that he might have had buried. Follow the money. All he cares about is his connections with Saudi Arabian and certain other Middle Eastern countries money. A travel ban would interfere with his operations in the area.

As for T-Rump, maybe he is sincere about being an ammosexual. He has certainly come out loud and clear about his bed wetting fears that match their fears.

  4. Yes when investigating Darth Cheney DO follow the money trail. His holy trinity consists of copper, silver and gold. Mostly gold.

  5. In the best capitalist tradition, I’ve already submitted my bid for the government contract to supply the required yellow creascent and star armbands. I got a sweet deal to have them manufactured in an Indonesian sweatshop and cheap shipping on a Saudi freighter registered in Liberia. GOOD TIMES!

  7. Lynn, it’s probably just a typo for “divisive,” don’t you think?

  8. @Wally
    Reaper fan are you?

Dick Cheney said something I agree with.

    I agree with Dick Cheney.

It’s going to take me a few days to wrap my head around that concept.

In the meantime, I think I need a shower.

Pretty obvious NRA and gun makers need the Muslin business to keep profits up. That is the only reason Cheney wants them in theis country. One of them will prolly attempt to remove Messrs dumbass dubya and Dickwad Cheney from the voter rolls and genetics pools.

Wally-if you direct your imports to Canada they can be brought into ‘murrica duty free. My ex-congressman,Berkley Bedell of Berkley Fishing Equipment fame, used to do that with his stuff made overseas while he was in congress. Their main plant and headquarters remains in Spirit Lake,iowa-the same area that make Indian and Victory mortorcycles.

Dick Cheney spokesman says he was “taken out of context” in 3, 2, 1…

  13. Susan on the Left Coast says:

Cheney did not stop there, he added this:

“A lot of people, my ancestors got here, because they were Puritans. There wasn’t anybody here then when they came…..”
(Cheney is a reincarnated Boar War vet?)

Ummm, no one was here in the soon to be United States of Bloodbath & Beyond except the several million natives who helped the Puritans survive.

The Republican Establishment is finally taking up arms against the Trumpistas. Note the shift in coverage by the conservative media.

The sad thing is, The Donald has done his job of making Ted Cruz seem sane and reasonable. Classic Republican one-two tactic: lead with a loudmouthed fanatic, follow with a soft-spoken (but no less hard core) fanatic.

  15. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Susan on the Left Coast, it’s more likely that Darth Dicky is simply a reincarnated boar. No vet status for him. He’s not too much on military service for himself. He much prefers we little people do his fighting for him.

@SusanOTLC, they weren’t white, so they blended into the landscape-just another resource to be exploited like the timber and furs…

  17. Elizabeth Moon says:

I can well believe Cheney’s ancestors were Puritans, inasmuch as they included a lot of smug, self-righteous, religious bigots determined to make everybody toe their line. Cotton Mather is probably his ancestor.

  18. Linda Phipps says:

Another thought on those Muslim badges, Trump would make another fortune having them made at one of his rapist Mexican factories.

    19
  19. Cheney said that????? Well, heck, even a broken clock is right at least once a day. And no, I kinda doubt that this will get him into heaven.

    20
  20. e platypus onion says:

maggie-unless you are on military time,a broken clock should be right twice a day. No offense.

  21. And, now Trump is fielding the independent run again
    http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/08/politics/donald-trump-independent-election-2016/index.html

I’ve said, and I’ve seen it echoed by many, that I hope Trump does not get the nomination and runs as an independent thinking Hillary or Sanders will win in a landslide. This may have unintended consequences as mentioned here: Article in Al Jazeera by C. Robert Gibson
    http://america.aljazeera.com/opinions/2015/7/donald-trump-the-bigoted-elephant-in-the-room.html

“Trump has said he wouldn’t rule out running as an independent if he doesn’t win the GOP nomination. Such a campaign would be reminiscent of segregationist Alabama Gov. George Wallace’s 1968 campaign for the presidency on the American Independent Party (AIP) ticket, in which his racist message won over Electoral College votes in the Deep South and threatened to have the presidential election decided in the House of Representatives. The AIP’s 1967 platform — based largely on fervent nationalism and opposition to “big government” — is eerily similar to what Trump and other Republican candidates are proposing today.”

Everyone’s vote is so important and most important now.

    22
  22. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and again. And Trump is one YUUUUUUUUUGGGGGE nut!

    23
  23. ePO,
Never heard Bedell’s story. Shame he couldn’t pay his share. Democrats shouldn’t let Democrats act like republican.
@Micr- Sadly, business is booming for the Reaper and Americans seem to be collecting a cash commission on a lot of it.

    24
  24. Darth Dickwad is scum, and just as scummy as t-Rump, but about slightly different things. Darth Dickwad is just as much racist, but smarter about it. As others have said, he’s all about greed and self-satisfaction.

It has been very rewarding interacting with you folks. I have never been one who looked for signs of he end of the world. However, agreeing with Cheney on anything is something I NEVER expected. I suspect the end is near.
