Trump Asks Israel to Deny Entry to US Congresswomen. Israel did it.
This morning, Trump tweeted for Israel to deny entry to Israel by US Congresswomen, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Shockingly, Israel complied, denying them entry. I can’t think of any other occasion where a US president made a political move like this, involving a foreign country directly in exacting revenge against domestic rivals.
Unbelievable.
What is the Right’s obsession with Israel?
Israel has universal health care, government subsized college tution, abortion is accepted and legal and they don’t accept Jesus as the Messiah!

1Mr. Farklestone, Israel occupies the real estate upon which the wingnuts are planning their rapture. Makes for one hellacious strange bedfellows arrangement. Not unlike the one evangelicals have with IQ4.5. Being a Jew (nonpracticing), it’s hard for me to comprehend the st00pid in that arrangement, but hey. Many LDS in our area with what we irreverently refer to as the “Mormon Lottery.” Forget the exact numbers, something like already 4 millions Moes competing for 400,000 spots on the plane to paradise. And yet they force baptize dead non-Mormons. Foot meet speeding bullet ….
Meanwhile we know IQ4.5 is felony level st00pid, but what gives with Bibi? Offending Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, when a Democratically led House holds the purse strings. Then again Bibi and the radical right in Israel think provoking the Palestinians will keep them safer. The felony level dumb is not a wholly or unholy US owned subsidiary.
2Netanyahu is a classic bully who always knows when to truckle to a bigger bully. The real question is, why do we all have to live by playground rules?
3The magic 8 ball appears to see proxy personal grudges as portents of smaller aid packages in the future. As well as possible humanitarian crimes are that alleged to be committed by or against Americans in foreign countries (such as under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), or when crimes are committed by foreigners against Americans.

4I’m watching for evidence that, as it becomes clearer to Trump that he’s going to lose the 2020 election, he’s reassuring fascist allies like Netanyahu that he will still be America’s president. Michael Cohen said it to Congress: Trump won’t give up the White House without violence.

It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!

Federal Court Dismisses Trump Claim That Immigrant Children Aren’t Entitled to Soap and Toothbrushes
“The government of the United States of America was fighting against having to provide toothbrushes, soap, and showers to children.”
Rights groups expressed relief on Thursday after a federal court dismissed a Trump administration appeal which argued that safe and sanitary conditions for detained immigrant children does not include providing basic hygiene necessities such as toothbrushes, soap, showers, and towels.
That the court decision was necessary underscores the cruelty of the Trump White House, said observers.
“The government of the United States of America was fighting against having to provide toothbrushes, soap, and showers to children,” tweeted Andy Donohue, managing editor of Reveal.
In its opinion (pdf), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals strongly rejected the Trump administration’s argument that certain basic necessities may not be required in some circumstances.
“Assuring that children eat enough edible food, drink clean water, are housed in hygienic facilities with sanitary bathrooms, have soap and toothpaste, and are not sleep-deprived,” the ruling stated, “are without doubt essential to the children’s safety.”

As for Greenland, Harry Truman thought that would be a good idea for a military base occupying the whole island, not just one base like Thule. There was a Red Menace then, ya know. I would give Harry’s idea more credence than Trump who wants to turn it into a golf and country club that he will staff with illegals just like all his other clubs. As for Denmark’s rejection, Way to go, Denmark. At least Denmark has a backbone.
