Too Bad. So Sad.

September 08, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Awww, man, this is just awful.

Trump ran his campaign the way the ran his businesses … into the ground.

Oh good Lord, they spent money to make Trump feel good about himself.  They spent millions of dollars in Washington, D.C., where there is zero chance that Trump will win over any voters.

They spent $1110,000 on magnet lined cell phone holders so people who are talking to Trump can’t record it.

They got really fancypants campaign offices in Virginia and stuff I do not even want to know about.

Trump’s campaign is broke.  Kinda fits since he broke America.

  1. I can’t tell you how happy this news made me today. I don’t doubt that some deep pockets will bail him out; however, they better not be Russians, is all I’m sayin’.

What is this referring to? Is it some sort of joke or scam that is being referred to?

Any phone call being received can be recorded and any magnetic field that can stop a recording will also kill the cell phone.

Now, if th FEC is up to their jobs, he’ll STAY broke!

Alan @2 I thought that sounded hinkey

  5. I keep hearing that the tRump campaign is broke. I ain’t buyin’ it.
It’s going to be peak ratfucking season from now to November. Scum like Karl Rove and Brad Parscale are working feverishly in the background, so watch out!!

Putin & Co have infinitely deep pockets, as do most of our homegrown RWNJ milbillionaires.
They’ll do whatever it takes to keep their Stinkkatze puppet in OUR White House.

  6. Alan, check the link; it was in Business Insider, not something JJ made up. (The typo is probably hers; it was only $110,000, not $11100,000.)

Just because a thing is stupid and/or a hoax doesn’t mean people won’t waste money on it. Think pet rocks….

    6
  7. Nonetheless guys, Alan @2 is correct.
Modern smartphone memory tech isn’t based on the old ‘magnetic memory’, it’s solid-state and pretty well impervious to all but extreme magnetic fields.

  8. Jane & PKM says:

Brad in Dallas, hinkey as in the morons running the f king moron’s campaign are stupid enough to buy magnetic lined cases for their phones? Sounds about right.

Add in the cost of Ronna’s hairspray and nail polish, buying new ‘friends’ for Messy, replacement drug snorting spoons at each campaign stop for Dimwit Jr. and his current arm scandal, why there’s hardly chump change left to pay Donnie’s legal expenses.

    8
  9. @Alan, the holders are to store people’s phones – people can’t take their phones with them when they see trump.

If the Rs want to recover some of that money, they should hold everybody called trump upside down, and shake until it falls from their pockets. Everybody except Barron, maybe.

    9
  10. Jane & PKM @8, “why there’s hardly chump change left to pay Donnie’s legal expenses.”

Around $65 Millions and counting of Rethug supplied dinero, defending Comrade Stinkkatze in his many legal issues.
This asshole has probably set the all-time record for ‘most lawsuits ever’.

    10
  11. This puts me in my happy place.
Sure, RWNJ billionaires COULD back him up — but will they? How many of them are anxious to flush their money down the same rat hole that ate up over a $billion already?

Putin might take it on — but who else has that kind of money just lying around?
The FEC needs to check any incoming funds for Russian fingerprints.
    Just sayin.

  12. Steve from Beaverton says:

Seems only fitting that Trumpf is running out of cash again, just like the old days in Atlantic City. Too bad his fixer, Michael Cohen can’t help him this time. Good thing the press gives him free campaign rally coverage every day from the WH. And then there’s free Putin campaign advertising with the administration giving cover.

    12
  13. Grandma Ada says:

He doesn’t need money because he’s not running for re-election – he intends to remain in power, elections be damned!

    13
  14. I read Trump is going to put his own money into reelection, if that’s what it takes.

When he says “his own money” I assume the advertising buys will be on credit, which he’ll never pay. I only hope most of it will be with Sinclair and Fox.

    14
  15. The Surly Professor says:

The “magnetic pouches” are just small Faraday cages for cell phones, and have no magnets. After students had been using cell phones to cheat on tests for several years, my university also looked into using that company (Yondr). By then I had handled the problem without needing to block their phones.

For me, the great pleasure in that article is them blowing money in D.C. as a vanity measure to make Trump happy at seeing his own name on TV. I’m sure BarbinDC has changed her mind and now wants to vote for Trump. [Uh, just in case the sarcasm did not register: I’m sure BarbinDC has not lost her mind.]

  16. twocrows @11,
Pissing away a $billion+ on Comrade Stinkkatze’s legal expenses is just pocket-change when you consider the $trillions in direct and indirect benefits they reap by having their puppet in the WH. And don’t forget Moscow Mitch.

  17. Buttermilk Sky says:

Why go to so much trouble? I thought all his phone conversations were perfect.

    17
  18. The phone thing is they’re worried about an in person meeting being recorded and leaked, like the famous Romney 47% claim.

The finance thing, at this point, seems to me to be a bunch of people who figure they have no chance so time to grab whatever cash flies by. Out of a billion you’ve got decent odds of getting a million or more, as long as you have no morals. And their campaign is composed entirely of people who have no morals.

    18
  19. Hey Buddy, can spare a dime?

    19
  20. A PFG metaphor:
Comrade Donnei probably can’t even drive a vehicle, a chauffeur takes him around in the backseat of a lame Caddy.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden revs up his -own- classic ’67 Corvette Stingray convertible [in BRG]:

  21. More than half a million has gone to Orange 45s former bodyguard, Keith Schiller. What’s he doing for that $$$? Most likely keeping lots and lots of secrets. Lots.

    21
  22. Sad & afraid.
